Obviously it's still a big shock but he was heavy drinker and smoker, liked his food and got into trouble for cocaine usage during his career. He wasn't exactly the model athlete.

Lynda Baron had died aged 82.

Probably known to most as nurse Gladys Emmanuel in Open All Hours, but better known to my generation as Auntie Mabel from Come Outside. :(

He was a pretty good actor, one of the standout movies he was in (for me at least) was Gorky Park.

Broadcast News is excellent, I only watched it a few weeks ago. He was in a number of great films, though obviously probably better known to people these days as Thunderbolt Ross from the MCU. Sad about this one.
