That is so sad i enjoy watching their shows very likeable chefs, and both seem really genuine nice people. RIP Dave Myers

Very sad news. They were both so watchable and made cooking shows accessible and entertaining. Their European tour show was fantastic.

Wish my image sig would work

Incredibly sad news. Their Christmas special around his recovery from cancer was really heartwarming and Dave seemed really hopeful for the future.

RIP :(

That's very sad news about Dave Myers. He was great on telly and a shining example to all us fat blokes with beards who want to cook.

Horrible news. They were filming in my local chippy for their latest series quite recently (I was chatting to the owner about it the other week). Must have been quite a quick decline :(

I regularly cook their piri-piri chicken that's "just like your NAN DOES"

RIP

I was thinking.... At least Dave Myers got to film one last series, riding a motorbike around and visiting lots of old haunts with his best mate.

It's very sad, given he seemed to be doing so well - we were watching them last night and he looked absolutely fine. Must have come back with a real vengeance.

Edit: reads Dowbocop's post above - goes to look up piri-piri recipe.

A surprise revelation that Bruce Willis was actually dead...

Nah, it'd never work.

Richard Lewis is a rough one.

I think on the current season of curb they may have been sign-posting that Lewis "the character" is going to die? Not sure if we've already seen his last scenes

Only really know him from Curb, but he was great in that. Not the funniest but the lefty ear phone call always cracks me up. When he's irritate with Larry, delivering semi-scripted, semi-improvised scenes he has this little smile - like there's the scene and there's other layer of a private joke between the actors, we the audience are nearly in on. The brotherly banter, disdain between he and David are some of the shows best scenes

I love Lewis in the answering message argument. He always played the insecure but loyal friend so well.
