How are we doing with ratio this week chaps? I'm pretty sure I'm well under 1.5, but struggling to get serious points on the board because of this. I've been aiming for games at around that mark, Duke Nukem and Freddy's were almost spot on so that helped a lot. But not sure whether to keep trying or just get us safe.

Is there an easy way to check this? My brother and I have a gaming session planned for tomorrow so I’m not worried about survival but at the moment I’m probably a fair bit over the 1.5 while I have a ton of quick and easy games installed to bring that down

Not really, since the switch to TA difference they've not included your weekly Gamerscore, which makes it difficult to see where you stand. Don't worry about it too much, I'd rather see another week than stress over the bonus anyway.

Ok, well I’ll look to keep us safe first which will probably require around 8,000, maybe more then I can take a look at my quick completion pile

Something odd going on on TrueAchievements, somehow we’ve gone up by nearly 2000 points this afternoon. We’re over 7k now somehow. Doesn’t seem to be just us as the gap and our position appears to be same :?

I really regret starting Dead Rising 4. It's an *appalling* game, buggy, filled with issues and very difficult to understand what's going on. I've managed to get a reasonable amount of achievements from it but it's come at the cost of me wanting to throw my XBox controller through the TV.

Dead Rising games have got progressively worse to be honest. I never even started 4 after trudging through the third game.

My 8,000 point estimate was massively optimistic  the numbers this week are frightening but hopefully we’ve done enough to earn ourselves one more week.

You guys have kicked arse this week. Not sure we're gonna be low enough for that bonus, but survival is definitely the most important.

Thanks man! Yeah, the points are high but I don’t think I worked any harder than usual but a little pre-planning worked in our favour, I knew I’d have a game day on sunday so just filtered all my locked online only Xbox one cheevos on TA and went after the juiciest ones. That Brawlout game has ridiculous ratios and for £4 in the latest sale is a pretty polished Smash Bros clone. I’ve added a bunch of super low ratio stuff too and I’ll chuck in some more before cutoff so not giving up on the bonus yet but not really sure where we stand with that...

I got one in Downwell last night which was high ratio but apart from that I'm way under 1.5. Just depends on what you guys have been playing really.

I did get some low ratio completions

Formula Retro Racing
Stab! Stab! Stab!
Where the bees make honey :dread:
Access Denied
Tetra’s Escape (nearly)

The highest one there is retro racing at 1.2 so still think we’ve got a chance

Looks like we missed out. Thankfully this week's should be very easy.

Has anyone managed a 'four' achievement yet? In all the excitement around Series X I'd forgotten about it, gonna throw Halo MCC on and pick up a quick one. Would be good to actually nab a bonus.

I'm working on the Dead Rising 4 achievement "Z-Genocider 4: The Return" and should have it by the end of tomorrow. Just involves a bit of grinding as I need to kill 53,598 zombies and I'm only on about 35,000 at the moment.

Thing is, Dead Rising 4 is a bit grindy but has been fantastic for achievements with a high TA ratio - I'm starting a DLC episode shortly that should net about a 3,000 TA difference in the score at something like 7.0 averages.

Just need the 15 strawberry floating co-op achievements that can only be done online next. :dread:

Not yet dude but I will and get the brother to do the same. I’ve been working long hours on nights this week so had limited time to play apart from sleep deprived sessions of Tetris Effect which is about as demanding as I can handle. One button controls and no story, ideal.

Ended up getting that Z-Genocider 4 achievement after about 20-30 minutes of grinding. Next challenge is "Left 100,004 Dead 2" which involves, yes, killing 200,008 zombies. Probably six or seven hours of grinding for 30 points, but I'd like to complete the DR series at some point. :slol:
