I got my first ever 1000 achievment points yesterday, on Unpacking.

Closest I've got before was 880 odd points playing Viva Pinata, several years ago.

Congratulations. My first 1000 was King Kong, I think it was a lot of people's first completion tbh

I've never really attempted getting 1000 points tbh.

Definitely an easy game to get 1000 points with, most of the achievments are given during the course of normal play, a few are a little obscure though.

I noticed, after finishing it, that there’s an option under Accessibility that lets you put the items anywhere, so it becomes ever so slightly easier.

I’ve been slacking off this year. Lost interest in gaming.

I'm back into game for a bit, well not really but considering I'm getting achievements left&right from Terraria (I just only started to really enjoy it) The new difficulty Journey makes it easy to get most if not all of achievements (just still requires timesink but I'm more than happy to let you join my world and drop all good stuff to help you get the achievements)

Other than that I don't think I want to buy game just for easy points now. Money when not tight as much, is still rather important and I don't want to use it on games I won't touch after hitting 1k GS (unless it's cheap and fun) So I'm just gonna use gamepass/backlog for that lol

Just finished FUBAR difficulty in Spec Ops: The line & got the MFWIC trophy. Found parts of it just as hard as Killzone 2 elite difficulty.

Unlike the original build the update of Skyrim SE to AE stops achievements if mods are used. I'm not one for chasing down achievements as a rule, but it's a tad annoying being as I'm only using visual mods and not cheats. I'm playing the game properly and have only just reached level 12, the only difference is that the game looks much prettier.

Oh well.

Ah bugger, I didn't realise that. Hadn't got around to doing Skyrim yet.

I'm hoping some clever soul drops a patch to remedy it.

It’s so tough at that difficulty. It’s been a few years since I did it, but as soon as I read your post I had a flashback to that section where you have to take cover on the left, then have to make your way up the hill, constantly getting into cover. And that tank-like character that bursts through the door. Monstrous. Such a great game, though.

So I'm gearing up to hit the big ONE MILLION in the next few weeks. Just wondering how I should go about it, whether I should get to 999000 and play a great game, or go for a clever or amusing achievement name (sadly Saw The Game and it's 'you've wasted your life' achievement has already gone!). Any thoughts?

Also may stream the occasion, which I've not really done before.

Your first ever Achievement was in Hexic, so you should get to 999,975 then get Grand Pearl Pooh-Bah.

Ah that's a really nice idea! Although that achievement is strawberry floating rock hard haha, I might be there a while.

Yeah, it’s a beast. It would also give you a 16-year completion!

But it would be a bad choice for streaming, because of its unpredictability.

Maybe get to 999,999 and finish on a single-pointer.
