I’d already done most of it (last year), but I’d put off the last two achievements. The Leaving notice kicked my ass into gear to get it finished.

Got the last Dirt 5 achievement yesterday for driving 1,000 miles. I’ve never resorted to using elastic bands on controllers before but after the campaign and two dlc packs there just wasn’t enough game to keep me playing any longer. The weather effects and HDR are amazing but is otherwise pretty average so a perfect game pass game!

Finished off the last achievement in Forza Horizon today too for completing all the PR stunts eight years since I started it. No idea why I hadn’t done it earlier as it was actually pretty easy. The game is absolutely stunning in 4k 60fps on Series X. I usually delete completed games but I think I’ll keep this one installed for when I want to drive around Colorado and listen to the radio

If you want more, work your way through Rare Replay - some absolutely astounding TA achievements in there for not a whole lot of effort. If I could just finish Battletoads I’d be on the way to getting 4,000 points from it.

Finally finished AC Valhalla, I left the Overdesign II trophy until last because I read a lot of people found it really difficult and it taking hours but it was probably the easiest and took around 5 minutes

the Gumball King trophy in Outrun Online Arcade.

Just got to get Cardiogram then I can finally put this game to rest.

I would like to finish off Outrun one day but I am really bad at it.

This last week I went back to Shatter to get the 100%.

Didn’t happen as I’ve given up on boss rush & fringe benefit trophies. I’ll leave it at 85% unfortunately as I’m wanting to crack on & I’m nearing the end of The Backlog… OF DOOM.

the Gumball King trophy in Outrun Online Arcade.

Just got to get Cardiogram then I can finally put this game to rest.

Outrun Online Arcade is one of my proudest completions, I would go as far to say the game is impossible to complete using automatic transmission. When you master the manual gearbox the drifting becomes much more controllable and effective. Not sure I’ve got the capacity to repeat the nerve shredding gumball king achievement again, 14 and a half minutes of pure zen focus . Would love to see this appear on modern consoles, such a shame it’s not backwards compatible.
