I keep thinking about delving into my massive steam backlog and going for achievements to get more out of them, but then I see my list of unplayed games/how much of a slog it would be and I nope out. I do like how steam shows you the percentage of other people who own a game who have unlocked which achievements. My rarest one is from Red Faction Guerrilla for destroying all the propaganda boards, although I suspect the low percentages are due to it being converted to steamworks rather than GFWL and many people haven't launched it again since.

I wish Xbox did that. I mean, TrueAchievements kind of does the same thing but it's obviously a smaller sample of people. Would be nice if you could see the real figure, and a global leaderboard would be interesting too. Although I suspect that would be dominated by cheaters.

Achievements would be much more interesting if they were all given the same base value, then that value was multiplied based on how many people had the game vs won it.

The early days with few games you could judge what the overall figure by someones name meant, now it's mostly meaningless.

I get what you mean (you can already do that exact setup on TA) but no system would ever be perfect, essentially it boils down to who has played the most games. For achievement hunters however, everyone has the same pool of games to play from, so if someone else gets 1000G for playing two minutes of Avatar, you can too.

EDIT - Your completion percentage is insane, man.

Really? It has a ratio of almost 2 and just 15% completed it. Is it a recent release? If so that will probably change fairly soon.

Finally managed to 100% Roblox tonight after adding a bunch of strangers to get an achievement where you're in a game with three friends. Load of rubbish and glitchy too. Happy to get a completion though, feels like it's been a while. Does the One have a 'completed games' section like the 360 does?

came out 12th july and i had no difficulty in getting any achievements and there are none for difficulty settings.

i'd also say this is me favourite digital download game on X1 this year so far. brilliant metroidvania game.

Since I've abandoned the GTASC thread I guess I'll update my progress here. I'm through to the next round. 8-)

This weeks bonus is to have odd numbered Gamerscore gain and achievements won. Seems easy enough.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this! I'd never heard of the game but have now downloaded and begun playing and it is really excellent!

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Single handily defeated the evil troll Ndseu on chapter 2-3 in Resident evil 5. Should be a trophy for doing that but another step closer to the platinum.

Been at it all day

I use to be quote into achievement hunting back in my 360 days, now I don't tend to trophy hunt too much, as a lot of games have too much bullshit attached to a platinum, like difficulty or collect a billion items. Open world games are the worst.

Some notable achievements

Platinum on the UFC 2 game, which appears to be pretty rare, as there is a lot of online grind for it to pop.
Doing the flappy goat trophy on goat simulator will literally ruin you. Took a couple of hours.
A lot of my platinums are cheap like playing walking dead on two consoles. I do quite enjoy the telltale story games, even if the tech is garbagr

True, but the TA websites don't have access to the data of every single user, only those that members so the figures are weighted slightly differently.

I'm trying to finish up my 360 games before I pack it away for retirement. I have quite a few I can't even get now where Microsoft have closed the games down :(

Closed servers are the bane of my life. I'm frantically trying to get Project Spark finished before it shuts down on the 12th. :x
