Now just one more before the year is up. Decided to play Uncharted 3 remastered for my 100th.

Come on dood, we’re waiting for #100! You have less than 14 hours.

100th Platinum: Uncharted 3 Remastered.

Impressive work dude. I’m looking to knock out more completions myself this year. On Xbox my gamerscore is around 267,000 but according to true achievements - my completion percentage is a lowly 34%. Needless to say, I have quite the backlog!

Set myself a goal of 700K by the end of 2019. That's a little over 10,000 a month, which is on the high side but definitely possible if I push on.

My completion rate is around 54.1%

Hopefully I’ll bump that up this year. Just finished Spider-Man’s last DLC today.

I’ve set myself to try to get 200 Platniums by end of the year. Realistically it’ll probably be half.

Got my first completion of the year. Granted it’s a very easy Neo Geo game in King Of Fighters 2000 but they all count.

My second completion in as many days - finally finished off the grindingly tedious Nutjitsu and promptly deleted it.

I'm looking to hugely boost my True Achievement percentage as well - it's at 57% and there are so many games I'm one or two away from completing it's ridiculous.

I'm trying to reach 98% but just about everything I have left is impossible for me to do. I just need to git gud

I don't know where else to put this but it's kind of related, has anyone got platinum scores on the challenges for The Force Unleashed 2? I've managed 2 of the 10, but the other 8 are just impossible. I have even checked on YouTube and the only way seems to be using glitches and cheats :fp: there's no way anyone on the development team tested these before they were shipped.

Are they not doing the GTASC this year on TA?

Yeah, it’s still happening but this year it’s running summer to summer. It starts in June I think. Teams of three I believe and ratio based so it should be a genuine test of gaming skill as it rewards tougher achievements (or rarer) more. My brother and I got by on a gaming diet of Neo Geo titles last year so I wouldn’t expect us to go far but we’ll still give it a go.

As for my goal of increasing my completion percentage - I got my 3rd and 4th completions of the year today in Snoopy’s Grand Tour and Aero Fighters 3. Only one achievement left on Forza 5 so that might be next. I could do with deleting something big to free up space on the hard drive.

I mean it doesn't matter, but.....y'know. Bit disappointing.

Bit random, but is there a reason you didnt finish Sonic XBLA? I don't remember that being a difficult completion.

Give it time, they occasionally get stuck. Quite often they'll pop while you're playing a totally unrelated game.

Yeh I hate sonic  idk why I even loaded it up but I got it and the second game free when Microsoft did the 10 free games for getting someone to buy a 360 promo

I will probably go back to it one day but I never really “got” sonic. The ratios are low but I seem to find it difficult!

I got 1000 on the original Rock Band today  the last achievement I unlocked in that was back in 2009. Ignoring the glitched games I have that’s my 130th 100%

Slowly clearing up games. I might finally be able to start Witcher 2 and then Witcher 3 this year

You can use save states in Sonic to smash through it very quickly, BID0.

Well done on the RB completion. It’s a monster of a game, 3x multiplier on True Achievements. I believe me and my brother were among the first in the UK to get the full 1,000 back in early 2008, but it must’ve taken us about 200 hours and some serious dedication.

I might give that a go then. I have quite a lot of half started Arcade games that I never really got in to.

I saw you already had the 1000! Nice one :toot: I actually miss those Bladder of Steel achievements in the first few games where you had to play all the disc songs without a break :slol: I remember me and my friends planning how we were going to scrape through on Expert on each song when none of us were competent at Expert level. Those felt like actual achievements!

The one in RB2 was brutal - the disc songs added up to about seven hours of nonstop play, and my brother wasn’t quite up to a couple of the more extreme songs on expert at the time like Panic Attack(aptly named) so we had to really time the overdrive to avoid failing out. It didn’t help that we kept getting unexpected phone calls from family members and I had to take them during talkie sections and loading screens so I didn’t drop combo or miss overdrive. Still amazes me that we did it first time!

Well at least I know I’ll just not bother. I played a huge game before and one achievement was glitched because the collectible stats didn’t go up by one poxy number. The worst thing is that it’s tied to having 100% completion (including all the collectibles.) So I had to replay the whole game again and then two hours, I just gave up.

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4.

So I’m always checking trophies guide for any of the Lego games and see if there are any buggy trophies and then I don’t bother. I see that the PS4 version have the same problem. You’ll think they’ll fix it but they didn’t.

Planning which people got breaks at which point for food and drink :slol: i dont think RB3 ever had that right? It probably would have been too dangerous with the 83 songs

God I remember those, brutal achievements.

Bladder of steel was just evil, you know full well some strawberry floater has done that pissing into 2L Coke bottle
