Rare Replay update - nearly there now, onto the last level of stamps and polished off a few more games this evening: Viva Piñata and Jetpac Refuelled. I still have some achievements to get in the games themselves but I don’t know that I’ll bother with the two Jetpac ones as they’re brutally grindy. Still need the following stamps:

Battletoads - 1/10
Kameo: Elements of Power - 2/10
Perfect Dark Zero - 3/10
Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise - 10/10

And the following stampless achievements:

One loop of the Turbo Tunnel Infinite in Battletoads
Complete challenge 21 of Grabbed by the Ghoulies

We’re getting closer.

Got the last achievement on Star Wars Battlefront II today.

Last game I got them all in was WWE Legends back in the 360.

These new retro releases (Double Dragon etc) are ridiculous. Looks like you can get 500 gamerscore on each of them just by changing some of the settings. E.g. 100 points for turning on reverb in sound options.

Well as someone who just did that Surviving Mars trick twice (Xbox and PC) and felt no guilt whatsoever, I approve of this.

Haha, there are seven of them, all with a similar logo. Can’t miss them if you go to new releases. And they’re only £4 each. Oh god, have I become an enabler?

Got DD, 700/1000 in five minutes. Unfortunately I'm crap at the game so may struggle with the last two achievements.

EDIT: Just missing the achievement for finishing the game - I'm so bad at beat-em-ups so I have no hope of winning it without figuring out how to get extra continues or invincibility into the game. :slol:

EDIT 2: Didn’t realise the game had save states, skooshed it. :D

The Double Dragon II difficulty achievements aren't stackable so I've just rattled through it on hard mode and need to do it again twice.

I'll wait for a sale, got most of the Neo Geo stuff at half price, that's a big difference over so many games.

I've quite enjoyed playing through the Double Dragon games. Onto III now - this one has what is on paper the hardest achievement of the lot, for finishing the game without dying. In reality - save states. :slol:

When you do get these games Heaty, you're looking at the best part of 7,000G in probably a day's work.

I feel dirty, having brought this to your attention.

I just checked out the Surviving Mars trick. Bloody hell, that’s on a whole different scale!

In my defence I love the Double Dragon games, so I'd have most likely picked them up at some point anyway. You do need to complete the games to get the full 1,000 points, so it's been nice to go through them and feel a bit nostalgic for the good old days. Being able to pick up 600 points in 30 seconds on each of them is just a nice bonus... :shifty:

Looking forward to it. I did five or six Neo Geo games in one day back in December. It was the only way I was hitting my annual target haha.

I like the idea of having all the NeoGeo collection games! It's the cost that stops me from going for them. I'm also not bothered about Gamerscore so much as I am completion percentages nowadays - I've bought up a load of old games to re-play them.

On that subject, I bought Doom 64 for £3 and was really excited about playing through it, but the achievements took something like 45 minutes to smash through. Now that they're out of the way I've been going through the game properly and it's bloody brilliant. :D

Managed to beat Resident Evil under 3hrs on Normal as Jill, yay! 3 achievements until I've 1000'd the game but it's going to be rough, as I need to do it on Hard, Real Survivor then finally Invisible Enemy. I'll just do last on Easy (or Very Easy).

Mind you I also unlocked One Dangerous Zombie :dread:

Well I've just went ahead and did Real Survival and I have to say that's most fun playthrough I've ever done, really glad I did it.

Now it's time for Invisible Enemy. Ugh. Doesn't sound like I'd actually enjoy it as much as Real Survival, so I might just drop difficulty to Easy and see how it goes.

Does anyone have Halo 5 Forge on their PC? I'm trying to clear a bit of space on my laptop and that takes up a great deal of it. Would be good to finish it off, I just need someone to let me headshot them 7 times in one match.

Just nabbing a few high-scoring easy achievements. I’m rarely bothered about my total score, but I’ve ended up close to 10,000 for the month, which I don’t think I’ve ever done before. Just need to limp over the line.
