Just finished Supermarket Shriek. Fun game, but hell it got tough at the end. The last few achievements were approaching 10 TA ratio, and I can see why.

I'm halfway through that, it's not been too bad so far but I have heard it gets tough. Been disrupted by that Arcade Collection which is free to play this weekend.

It’s only about three levels that really need some practice. But on one of them I thought I was totally stuck, and imagined not finishing before it leaves Game Pass. The final achievement was not as bad as I had feared - playing the last (and longest) level in “co-op”, with one controller in each hand.

Well I managed to finish Geometry Wars 3 Co-op mode by myself, so I should be ok with that!

I limped over 10,000 last month as well! Felt pretty good.

Currently trying to get Ninja Jack in Far Cry Classic.

What a load of shite. The stealth is broken. These mother strawberry floaters would hear you light up a smoke from 2 miles away.

Got to a quarter of a million true achievement score the other day, and I'm pretty happy about it.

Posted this in the Xbox thread, but it’s relevant here because it’s a potential extra 1000 for free.

rinks wrote:There’s been a lot of fuss about Super Lucky’s Tale DLC. To start with, the original game and its DLC had to be delisted when the new version was released. To get round people being unhappy about not being able to buy the original DLC, they bundled free downloads of the original game and DLC in with the new version. But only if you bought it. Game Pass downloaders didn’t get the old-version DLC.

Cue much complaining, leading to the decision that they would provide free download keys to anyone who could prove they owned the original game. They we’re flooded with requests. So now, they’ve made the original two DLC packs completely free for everyone.

Yeah I downloaded them earlier. Still got the original game downloaded via Game Pass.

If any of you guys are thinking of giving Hotshot Racing a go (it’s fun, but some of the achievements look a little grindy), a word of advice: get on it quick. There’s an achievement for beating a downloaded ghost time in time trial mode. As far as I can tell, that means you’ve got to outrun one of the 30 fastest times posted worldwide on one of the 16 tracks. If you switch to the mirrored tracks, there are still some slow times (for now), making it easy, but it’s going to rapidly get harder (or near-impossible) to achieve as more people log times.

strawberry floating hell, I'll give that a miss.

Quake IV in 2005 should've taught everyone that online leaderboard achievements are bad, and everyone involved in them should feel bad.

Yeah, wasn’t there a Tiger Woods one too? Terrible idea.

Hotshot is really easy at the moment though. I did it first attempt once I found a crap time to beat. But those opportunities will disappear. If you get the game now (it’s in Game Pass) and prioritise that achievement, the rest are OK.

Currently at trying to get “The Flapmaster” (score 10 points in Flappy goat) in Goat Simulator.

Been having a whale of a time with this, this afternoon.

Why is it when there is something I like & I’m having fun you game devs have got to ruin it with some gooseberry fool like this?. I just don’t get it.

I’m having fun & then you game devs be all like BLAM fun is over mummy strawberry floater. We’re going to ruin your fun now. Ho ho ho.

I feel bad for the QA testers, I imagine they have the same experience but when they tell the higher ups that their game has gooseberry fool hit collision / detection in Flappy goat, they probably got locked up in the dungeon.

Knock it off game devs :capnscotty:

 It’s the same trophy that prevents me from getting the platinum.

Bloody mini game.

Managed to beat the 30th best time on a mirrored version one of the Mountain courses. Ended up setting the 22nd best time. :)

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn’t clocked that one!

Just managed to get the 26th best time on one of the mirrored desert downtown track. There’s still plenty of opportunity to get on there. I crashed several times and didn’t have to drift using the F1 car and beat the threshold by over a second

Managed to get that stupid trophy (The Flapmaster) in Goat Simulator.

I’ve been at it since 2PM (with breaks & what not).
