Made the mistake of having car trouble at the same time as I had an achievement boosting session on TrueAchievements booked in. Didn't see any missed messages from the guy so didn't really think much of it. Logged on to my account this evening to a strawberry floating scorching review, and turned on the XBox to find that, in fact, there are about a dozen missed messages. I just wasn't notified of any of them.

There's a Microsoft Reward at the moment where your gamerscore earned is converted into reward points up to a maximum of 10,000.

There's also 500 points for getting 6 achievements.

I'm trying to think of games I've got in my backlog where you can earn achievements quickly/easily.

I'm thinking:
Forza Horizon 3
Injustice 2
Bioshock 2
Fallout 76
Doom Eternal

Any other suggestions? I've got Game Pass.

The true achievements GTASC competition is about to begin again in a few days and was wondering if anyone was interested in joining in the fun? It’s teams of four again this year and I have a provisional team featuring myself, my brother and heatlight but need one more.

The structure of the competition is the same as last year in that it rewards ratio difference rather than score meaning that it’s more beneficial to unlock tougher, scarcer achievements over easy gamer score.

You need to be a TA member with over 20,000gs to enter and while it can get pretty full on later in the comp we don’t take it too seriously so there is no pressure to be able to post big numbers just a general enthusiasm for achievement hunting. Bit short notice as entry closes tomorrow night but would be great if we could get a team together.

I can try and play, though I'll be less able to participate as time goes on. I accidentally strawberry floated off a 190-odd day achievement streak last week because I was playing Among Us and need to get back on the wagon somehow.

Cheers! Looks like the best way to win is to get higher TA achievements so I'll be grinding for the THPS level 1+2 level 100 achievement, which currently has a ratio of 45.18

I spent the whole summer on furlough completing Forza Horizon 1-4. Some of those ratios are ridiculous. It was however, a truly wonderful time

Cheers Manwell, it’s a shame we couldn’t get two teams entered but it all came together at the last minute.

it looks like this thing kicks off at 1pm, with the competition only lasting 25 weeks the normal gentle start probably isn’t going to happen this year. That said, we all have more important gooseberry fool to deal with and this should be a fun distraction so we can just roll with it and see where we end up without putting any unnecessary pressure on ourselves. Looking forward to getting stuck in and having a bit of fun Good luck Team GrCade!
