Fast forward to about 10 years later, I wanted to play a console version of NBA Jam and did some research into the various ports. I read mixed opinions, but the general consensus seemed to be that the best version was either on Atari Jaguar or Sega Saturn. Ah! I recall Jaguars being sold off cheap - often by Silica Shop and TV Games if I remember correctly! - and I was tempted on several occasions, Sargon. The Jag was a system that seemed to be pretty cool; I liked the look of the bold, chunky polygonal visuals. It seems that there is a very hardcore group of Jag fans who have created some amazing stuff for the console over the years.
If I were to own a Jag I'd definitely want to try Tempest 2000, Cybermorph and Club Drive!
