Certainly looks more interesting than the first one. Nice hints at Doctor Octopus and Vulture there too.

Having multiple (more than two) villains can work with competent writing, it's just not been done before.

Wasn't expecting the Doc Ock tease, those arms were moving too

Looks interesting.

Didn't realise the guy from Chronicle is in it. The acting calibre for, well, everyone except Spiderman is pretty high.

Even the guy playing Spiderman has obviously got some talent; I think the writers just to need to actually decide what tone they're going for.

Wasn't there multiple villains in the old Spiderman 3 and that turned out great :dread:

Apparently the Doc Ock/Vulture tease comes from the film's end credits sequence and that sequence will end with a reveal of the Venom symbiote

Mandatory fart noices throughout.

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

To be fair to Spidey 3, Venom was forced in by the studio apparently. And it showed massively. Bet he Raimi must be pissed now though, as the villains he wanted for Spidey 4 (black cat and vulture) look like they're being set up in this for the sequel

Awful CGI yet again :dread: :dread:

A Very Close Look At The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer

There are references here to Ravencroft, an Australian project, Weapons systems, exoskeletons, synthetic plants and a lot more. “Venom storage” seems to be of particular note.

All the mech suits/exoskeletons :dread: :dread: and EVERY bad thing in Spidey's life coming from Oscorp really?

Also BBBBRRRRRRRRR BBBBBBRRRRR

Look absolute shite.

But of course, I'll still watch it. It can't be worse than Man of Steel, can it?

Loved all the nods to the greater Spidey universe. Especially the obvious Vulture wings Octavius's Arms.

I still really like Andrew Garfield. He's far more likeable than Maguire who just wound me up with his whiny strawberry floating face.

I'm pretty sure that 3 will involve big Norman seeking revenge for the defeat Harry is obviously going to get here, and end with the death of Gwen. Which would set it up for the next movies (They've already confirmed them haven't they?). Though working Venom into that somehow would be cool too.

But for now I'm just hoping that this will be a solid effort. It doesn't have to be Spectacular, but I'd love it if it was. Pun very much intended

He's gonna be the best thing in this isn't he? Probably because he knows it'll be rubbish and hence is playing it for laughs...

That's pretty true to Ultimate Spider-Man. In the early days everything was even from Oscorp or Hammer Industries.

I mean more in the sense of EVERY one of his enemies that is getting set up for the 3rd (Sinister Six) is a) From Oscorp and b) a exoskeleton baddie (except Lizard and possibly Venom). Where's Roxxon?
