Yep, the missus keeps putting it on, though I'm not complaining, sat here in the coldest corner of the living room right next to the drafty door.

My room gets like an ice box in the mornings when it gets anywhere near close to winter, infact our entire house does (we don't have cavity wall insulation and a few of our windows are knackered but they're not going to be fixed) so yeah we've had it in a bit.

StayDead, I'm sure that - because a resident of your home is disabled - you are entitled to free cavity wall insulation. I got mine sorted for free.

People kept knocking about it but my Mum never trusted them as they never had any ID with them so we never got it done. Oh well it's not going to affect us now anyway.

Yes. I live by the sea. The top floor of the house is crap in the winter. Very, very cold.

Why? You may as well mate, free is free. Wasted heat, and all that.

It's not been too bad tbh, if it keeps going on this way I might not even turn it on this year.

I think you can get it done free through British Gas or other (I nearly said 'reputable' there) companies rather than relying on cold callers?

Loft insulation's also included.

Here you go:
