I don't tend to turn any heating on until early November - mainly the Dyson fan heater.

I've got the perfect solution for you all.

Join the ranks of the undead.

They're immune to cold so problem solved and you never have to pay a heating bill ever again. I admit that applying for a job may be harder as you'll have to disclose being undead but you can get over that by eating the brains of the HR team.

Join the winning team, join the undead.

I'm still having to open the windows to cool down, never mind put the heating on.

It's freezing today, so the heating may get turned on for the first evening since the start of the year. I dunno. I'll see what the house is like when I get home.

I'm about to go swimming and the pool is always freezing  .

Gives you the impetus you need to keep swimming so you don't freeze to death.

The wife has had the heating on for an hour or so the past few days to my chagrin.

There's seems to be an overlap between the people who were moaning when it got a bit warm a few weeks ago and the people who are now desperate to put their heating on.

Are you people never happy!?

Between 7 am and 9pm it is always enabled so if the house drops below 21 it will come on.

Heating came on last night for about an hour as the wife felt a bit cold. I just put on a jumper.

I put the heating on boost mode for an hour this morning because my home office room is freezing and I can’t be bothered having to deal with the cold as well as work nonsense. I’ve broken the seal for the season now.

It’s cold enough for me to put on a jumper now, over my t-shirt and top. The Lady is in full dressing-gown.

Still got the windows open. :|

Weird story, we had a plumber around in the Spring to install a new pump. He fixed it but the boiler kept switching itself off as it overheated. It was ok for a while as it took a second to reset it. Plumber guy said buy a new PRV Valve that's linked to our temperature dial in hall. Anyway, with winter approaching I got the valve and installed it a month ago but it didn't seem to work, the boiler was still over heating but for the past 2 weeks it's just started working.

Before the pump seized we used to have hot water constantly as the boiler clocked on and off to keep it hot, at quite a low cost too so that's all back working, just in time for the Winter which is great. As an added bonus, the Kitchen rad that NEVER worked since we bought the house now works! :toot:
