I watched some of this for the first time in years the other night, they've gotten dumber haven't they?

Just a little, they somehow get worse each year as well, sometimes each week

I re-watched quite a few episodes from the first 3 series on Youtube a year or two back, although I think they've since been taken down. It started around 2005.

The calibre of contestants compared to now is ridiculous. It was an entirely different show for an entirely different audience it seems.

What year was Tre on it? Thought he was a great balance between actually knowing what he was doing and the comedic value it goes for these days.

Let’s see how utterly disastrous tonight’s episode turns out

Watched it yesterday. That bloke not even knowing the abbreviations of, or seemingly the differences between, a tablespoon and teaspoon. The calibre of contestant for 2024. :datass:

Well, you could tell from about 20 mins in who would be getting fired  Not quite sure how the winning team got their client to hand over so much money for poor looking mini cheesecakes though.

I mean the very idea of paying £6+ for a mini cheesecake is laughable to me

If you played a drinking game based on them saying the words "guys" and "obviously", you'd be dead before the episode recap even ended.

I couldn't believe the women were able to get away with charing £10+ for theirs.

If ever you needed a prime example which highlighted what you can get away with charging in London this was it.

Sugar should just invest in the corporate client the boys had. He completely mugged them off. Negotiates £5 a cake and then a £100 discount later.

Could be worse, on the Australian version during the boardroom, one of the contestants called him 'dude'
