The Binding of Isaac: Repentance |OT| Yay, Cancer!

Really want to play this but they want £50 on PS5. I bought the original on PC and got Rebirth through PS+. Expected it to be about £20 and would bite at that price.

Yeah, I played it on Vita and would like to go again on Xbox, but not at £50.

I think that you can just buy the Repentance (or other) updates if you have an earlier version of the game, satriales?

EDIT: Ah. For the PS5 version. It's only £28 total for the PS4 if you don't have a PS+ copy of Rebirth. (£11.99 for Rebirth. £15.99 for Repentance.)

Yeah. It's £15.99 to buy as an add-on for PS4 version of Rebirth.

I had rebirth on PS+ but all my old PS+ games are locked because my subscription stopped for a while. So it won't let me buy the add-on. I'll just wait until price drops or Sony unlocks my PS+ games.

Yes. I need to log a support ticket as they shouldn't be locked.

I looked into the expansions and it appears you need to have both Afterbirth expansions to buy the Repentance addon

Always been the way with Isaac. Can't have the latest DLC without the previous ones otherwise you'd have a load of missing assets

the repentance dlc is coming to the switch next Thursday. just six more days, unless you have a physical copy then you have to wait longer. its only for the downloaded afterbirth + games at the moment.

just a heads up, as of last night the repentance dlc is now available for download on switch. was up way to late playing it, now very tired.

I believe its only for the digital version of the game, I think they are still trying to work out a solution for the physical version. what they need to work out I cant imagine.

I had to download a European digital version as my physical copy is an American version, tad annoying but i'll take anything. it's sooooo weird having new enemies in the game now, so much new stuff to learn.

Nintendo Life enjoyed the Switch version of Repentance, awarding it an [8].

The Repentance DLC is listed on the Nintendo UK website but it doesn't appear if you search on the site; I found it via Google. The content costs £17.99.

Looking at the comments about the download and physical versions, there is an oddity in that the two versions are - unlike other Switch games that I've experienced - treated separately. I have both versions (UK) and they each have a separate icon on the Switch; albeit the same artwork and name. Usually the download and physical versions are treated as one by the Switch. Maybe this accounts for the quirk about the DLC compatibility with the cart version.

^^^ I never posted an update for that but, yeah, Repentance became available to purchase and download for both the digital version and (separately) the physical version on the eShop! It's a bit odd that there has to be two versions; I don't think many Switch games are like this but I believe it is because each version has a separate publisher. I have the digi and cart versions and they are treated as different by the console.

And now... the Switch version has received a big update bringing it in line with the PC version.

seen some people tweet to ed that the console version crashes, so i think there shall be an update fixing that soon. only time its crashed for me is when i got re-rolled into a tmtrainer build while playing as tainted eden. the game did not like that.
