Dead cat with health ups, laser with damage buffs and homing poison bombs are what you need buddy.

My PS4 version is downloading a patch now, presumably fixes the save issue some people had.

Took me 8 frickin hours (total, not one sitting) but I finally just beat the Mom there. Was ridiculously overpowered as well, shame I couldn't go straight to the womb from that build cos I was murdering everything and I didn't even have a trigger/spacebar item.

The item unlocked endings are horrible :lol:

Just got the coat hanger one

So, had a decent combo going. Tech 2 + floating tears = lasers everywhere + big ball of death.

Then got caught in a corner in four mobs and killed off in the first Caves floor. :facepalm:

Just finished an epic Blue Baby run. Beat Isaac in the Cathedral and finally unlocked the D6. :datass:

I'm not sure the point of posts like this when I have to spoiler everything. Oh well. :lol:

No patch on Vita yet. Had a couple of nice pick-ups, though, on last run...

One gave a chance of Pac-man like attacks while the other let me destroy rocks and skulls. I also got a Steam sale coupon in a shop. :lol:

Made it to mom again :mrgreen:

but not only had I no damage upgrade, I also managed to pick up, in the room before mom, a damage reduction item. :fp:

It wasn't clear if it was damge I took being reduced or damage I dished out, but knowing my luck it was the latter. :lol:

It looked like a dull mask.

D'you know what they need to patch into this? Local co-op when you pick up a buddy! That would be amazing.

Oh gooseberry fool! I forgot to mention the best pick-up on last run: a passive buddy which acted like a decoy, drawing occasional enemy fire leaving me free to attack hassle free.. It played a huge part in me getting to mom... and I forgot to write the seed down.

Since the new patch loads of endings are now unlocked which I hadn't earned yet.

I also got a trophy for killing Mom 10 times, but not the trophy for Killing Mom 8 times.

Just blitzed the game. Became Guppy early on and it was all uphill from there. Got the Mama's Boy trophy without even remembering it and destroyed Isaac. :datass:

Killed Mom where I had a curse that I teleported out the room when I took damage. Took a fair few attempts and there were some swear words said... Quite happy when it finally all came good

Just beat Mega Satan.

That was... stressful. :lol:

Just beat the Cathedral before I unlocked the Cathedral thanks to the wonders of the joker card :lol:

Wargh! Only just learned the game has local co-op!

Got these quite early on during last session...

I also picked up a few speed/dmg increases and another two companions but strawberry floated up later by picking up magnetic tears which cancelled the rainbow tears :fp:

Died a couple of dungeons before getting to mom.
Remembered to write the seed down this time!

Could have done with more bomb drops for searching out secret rooms, though.

Yeah but then I'll miss out on finding bits of paper months down the line with random numbers on 'em and wondering just what the strawberry float they're for :slol:

I just nearly strawberry floated myself over by picking up the item that gives you 9 lives at 1 health right before facingsatan. Luckily I beat him at the third attempt :oops:
