Finally got my collection sorted in the new house. Had to get rid of my old table in the move and i'm getting the new one delivered next weekend too so I finally get a chance to learn the new Christmas games!

Just broke the wing off my TIE Bomber :fp: strawberry floating hell. Are you just meant to leave them assembled on the stand then, or what? :dread: worst day ever

It lives! Can't tell I've broken it, luckily. Will have to be super careful in future. Dreading the moment I break a wing off the TIE Defender :fp:

That’s a great collection there! Some amazing and some say quintessential games!

As for X-Wing, I’ve only had 2 acccidents. A defender peg snapped in the hole and had to be glued, and my Tie phantom also bent on its stand and is now at funny angle. How are you storing them? I use Plano storage boxes with individual compartments for each ship on its stand. Gets expensive as your collection grows though..

Joer :datass:

Got Nintendo monopoly for Christmas. Sitting alongside the star wars risk my secret Santa got me a few years back

Now what I'd really love is to get a vintage hero quest board game, probably my favourite ever. So many happy summer holidays playing that with my friends.

My DnD Cleric got eaten and properly killed by a bag.

So I've made a sub 3 foot Gnome Fighter that dexterously duel wields rapiers and has no strength :D

Tiny but fierce

Noice.

I'm playing D&D tonight in town. We're playing the Tomb of Annihilation campaign which, so far, has been absolutely brutal. My first character, a half-elf wizard, died in a fire trap a few weeks ago. Then my new, fighter character was insta-killed within about 15 minutes of playing as him. I'm now playing as a human barbarian but at the end of the last session I was ambushed and grappled by a giant toad. Beginning of tonight's session I'm going to go into a frenzied rage and attempt to get the hell out of there before it swallows me whole.

I love D&D but the current DM leaves a lot to be desired. And although there are a couple of really cool guys playing, the majority of the group seem a bit autistic and care only about the numbers, which leaves me feeling unsatisfied. I absolutely loved being DM for my friends (it started off strong but then bitchy bullshit happened and people quit) and I really want to DM more but it's hard getting a group.

I'm playing an online group from a video game forum - we're doing storm kings thunder. (level 8 atm)

Ah nice. I've been tempted to check out Roll 20.net for that kind of thing.

Tonight's session was awesome though. Loads of roleplaying and lots of funny moments. Best session since we started and I'm super excited for the next one.

not a board game per se, but I played the "Exploding Kittens" card game the other night. It was alright, bit confusing at first but once we'd done a few rounds everyone got the hang of it - 7/10

So how did that Resident Evil 2 board game actually turn out in the end? Initial reports seemed kind of mixed.

Yeah it's a group on rllmuk doing the campaign (they did the start Lost Mines of Phandalin before I joined between campaigns) using roll 20.

Works really well and the DM is lovely at world building

I'm jonesin for some RPG action these days. Now that I've moved to France opportunities are slim and the DM of my usual group is going through a down period and isn't able to commit to anything at the moment.

Basically...jelly.

Try roll20.
There's groups that form just on there I think. Might be hit and miss though

So Star Wars destiny is great! Best thing is that even the wife enjoys it! Justifies my spending quite a lot

Yeah, I’ve backed it at the moment. There’s a few things on there I’m interested in but I just haven’t got anything else like that so it won the pledge.
