It's a really fun game too, the "one house per turn" rule is a great mechanic.

I've no interest in it, and no idea how it plays (although I think I'm playing it with a chum at the weekend) - but I've been following it as the "buy a deck" concept seems...odd.

I havent heard of it until now but I really wanna get one, the random name mechanic sounds great, even withoput the potential for controversial names.

I picked up Keyforge today. Sadly my deck names weren't as interesting!

Pandemic Legacy S1

Well this was fun. Made you destroy things/adapt board pretty early on and has veered away from "A game of Pandemic" pretty quickly. Failed one month once and then aced the second.

Most annoyingly one of the "dossiers" of sealed stickers was printed upside down, so is unusable. That's going to make it very hard (impossible?) to play later on. We had to look up one rule as it wasn't behind the door it should be.

(Jan and Feb spoilers)

Hermes 37, Ms Bland, Dr Candice Kane and Resus Ann tried first.
We got obliterated when the Black Cubes became CoDa. Some back luck and some poor choices saw the entire of western Asia chain outbreak ending our game. And adding so many stickers! Ms Bland got 2 scars!

Knowing what would happen, and switching out Ms Bland for Captain Kling - we smashed through it, managing to eliminate the red disease...named Bursting Burgandy Boils.

For February Hermes' "Auntie No Go" [the quarantine specialist] turned up. They quickly got the Middle East locked down, and the rest pottered about keeping things under control. No diseases were eliminated, but we have 2 more research stations added to the board!

Have to wait for a replacement dossier before starting March

Hey Hexx, they made a Keyforge deck just for you - https://www.keyforgegame.com/deck-detai ... 530fea9833

It's even got ten rares in it.

Linked as slight spoiler - if you look between the D and E you can see the sticker outline has been cut

That's pretty bad! They better have sent it over free of charge.

We did some campaign games last night. Game two of Rise of Fenris and then June in Pandemic Legacy.

Both of them are so good.

I lost Rise of Fenris by one point which was a bit annoying, but I did only have 3 stars on the board compared to the winner who had 6 so I didn’t expect it to be that close. We had a peace game and there was no combat the entire game which was strange for a game of Scythe.

Pandemic was a VERY close call. We had space for one more outbreak, an Epidemic card came out and we was turning over 3 cards. There was 6 potential outbreaks on the board that would lose us the game, and about 15 or so cards to be shuffled back on top. Thankfully we got lucky and avoided any outbreaks but it was a very close call at the end!

Speaking of which, I think I'm going to get pandemic for my Mrs for Christmas - has anyone used this site before? Seems to be a good price

Yeah - simple web form (with same pic attached) let me say product/part with issue
Agreed next working day to ship one (from America) - UPS

So can't complain. We were probably going to pay every 5-6 weeks so also not a big issue.

Zatu are great.

I’ll always use them for my board game purchases if I can but unfortunately it seems the stuff I want is barely ever in stock. Takes a few days for delivery and always really well packaged when they arrive.
