I'd agree with that idea if it was all older celebs, but they are all different ages and it was this bad last year so I doubt that is really a valid reason why.

Jesus wept, night of death! Anyway, for you young uns, the genius we have now lost is not GM, nor CF, not even RA but the astonishing Liz Smith, one of a kind lovely eccentric genius. Watch her early stuff if you disagree - you will be surprised, a dry outlook on life and sharp as a razor. The phrase 'comedy genius' was invented for her.
