This news will be hardest to take for Peter Stringfellow's girlfriend, who is already under a tremendous amount of pressure due to her impending GCSEs.

I got one of his cookbooks last year, maybe the year before, and he talks a lot about his family in it. Can't imagine what they must be feeling or what must have been going through his mind.

Now that's a sad loss. R.I.P.

His best storyline in EastEnders was when he was in prison. Not watched EastEnders for probably 10 years or so. I think he was killed off but no doubt he could have been resurrected by the quality writers.
