Apologies for starting our second game late. I accepted the invite but the app didn't update and while looking for our board I ended up joining a speed game against a Russian lad called Sergei. I felt bad leaving and don't know the etiquette so I ended up playing him

Second game was death by a thousand cuts because I don't really have an endgame (might have to go beyond the Chess.com lessons to develop because I'm only allowed one free one a week). Was fun at the time, but I'm regretting staying up till 1AM trading moves with you at the moment tbh

God I've been playing awfully. Hypes beat me 2 nil. I didn't stand a chance in either game.

I'd love to be good at chess but I'm awful. I played a bit of Kilobyte's Gambit a few weeks ago and I just get routinely skulled by a strawberry floating wristwatch-worth of code. I think I'm holding my own and then a bishop will just sweep the length of the board and wreck me!

I was genuinely gutted when I realised I'd miscalculated which of our pawns was getting to the end of the board first! Well played man, cracking game of chess. Now we go again.
