I am a 27 year military special operations veteran and will comment only on that, with regards to Trump.

1. The United States and Russia have had thousands of nuclear warheads pointed at each other for decades, yet everyone was absolutely safe. Why? Because the leaders of both countries were smart enough to know what would happen if a nulear war ever started. Trump does not comprehend that. His rhetoric shows that he thinks nuclear weapons are "just another weapon", has commented about "nuking them", and thinks all countries should have nuclear weapons. Under a Trump administration, the chances of a nuclear war somewhere in the World are significantly higher.

2. Trump likes to bad-mouth and alienate our allies. He does not understand that we need our allies as bad as they need us. In a World crisis, the US cannot "go it alone".

3. Trump has stated that, if the United States military comes to the aid of another country, that they will have to be able to "pay" for it. Military interaction is not about making money; it is about right and wrong; good and evil. To turn the US military into a mercenary-like, "for hire" force is unthinkable.

4. Trump's mouth will, and probably already has, multiplied the current 1/2 of 1% of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the World, radicalized against the West, by many many times. What he does not know is that a determined terrorist cannot be stopped, because they don't care if they die. If Trump is allowed to continue "representing the United States", you won't be able to go to a shopping mall or flea market in this country without looking over your shoulder and worrying about where the next bomb is going to go off.

And, those are only the military ramifications of a Trump Presidency.

Recently I asked a bright young man in his 20's in the US what he thought of cars that did not need human drivers. He said "Why don't they invent something that makes us feel human instead of inventing things that make us feel dead.?"

"Tesla will update its cars' Autopilot function with new safety features designed to prevent collisions, the company has announced."

I would have thought this would be a key feature - not an update, collisions are generally a bad idea and should be avoided.

I would rather be a passenger is a car driven by Clarkson, than get behind a wheel of s driver-less car.

Anybody using / needing gadgets like this to help them drive, should never be allowed behind the wheel of a car in the first place
