Receptionists put people off of seeing their GP.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-37605573I though you knew there is no such thing as racist against white males any more. That got banned by new liemore in their very aptly named Equality act. Where they made it legal to discriminate against white males.
Yesterday this site was clobbering teachers, today it's doctors' receptionists. Who is it at the BBC who gets to choose the victim of the day? Would it be cynical to suggest there is always a hint of lefty bias?
I see the remainiacs are back on the pedestal today telling us we're not worthy and we shouldn't have an opinion .. as they are soooo much cleverer than everyone else.
send all the European migrants home , plenty of slots then we will not need foreign NHS staff milking the system
In my London Surgery, many third world migrants do not speak English and therefore the receptionist asking them questions is just a waste of time and discriminatory against the indigenous population as the questions just end up causing a delay for those of us in the minority that speak English and use the health service infrequently.
Stop wasting doctors time with flu jabs and non important pandering to hypochondriacs.
Very very few people need a flu jab - only those already ill. Yet virtually all old people go and get them. Its ok to have a sniffle grandma. It won't kill you.
Look, it's quite simple, all this cobblers could easily be avoided if the Government had the cajones to introduce a £10 charge for seeing a GP End off, no exceptions for welfare scroungers etc.Immediately you would be able to get a same day GP appointment , and the waiting rooms would be empty.
But oh no, the socialists would rather everyone receives the same dire service, cos its fair innt.
Caller1: My child has a rash.
Rec: Oh doesn't sound important, have an appointment next week.
Caller2: My stomach hurts.
Rec: Come in immediately, could be bad.
1 was meningitis, 2 was a trapped fart. They aren't trained to a high enough standard, and so shouldn't be making these decisions.
