Comments sections make me genuinely and deeply angry; these are technically human beings, the same as you or me, with the same legal rights to vote, drive and other things which you would think require a modicum of sapience beyond what they type on the internet. Comments sections only exist as a honeyed trap to generate more advertising revenue and clicks for the dens of gooseberry fool and stupidity which use them. If every comments section on every news site, youtube etc. was to disappear there would be absolutely no net loss to humanity; nothing at all.
