It's the bizarre need to bring Rangers into it that's making me laugh, and also the fact that the game he's referring to as going ahead was shitcanned probably minutes after this was posted.

Referring to Ibrox as the Sevco Dome is embarrassing as well.

Didn't realise they'd updated the name to be fair.

I thought it was still referred to as Castle Grayskull.

Nowadays if you try and celebrate St. George's day you'll get locked up.

Will the summer stop the virus?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52121376

162: "Lockdown is working"

Only if by "working" you mean "delaying the inevitable" - which is that almost everyone will get infected in the end & meanwhile the economic cost is mounting by the second.

I have no objection to cowards locking themselves in & "enjoying" a few extra weeks or months of miserable life - it's their choice. I'd rather live on my feet than die on my knees.

Trust me, heat will kill off any viruses. Of course there are exceptions but do you see majority of people suffering from flu in summer? Yes, you can argue hot countries have Covid-19 cases but most spread either through imported cases or where air condition

You may have noticed that The WOKE BBC have stopped lauding the Swedes for the policies they have adopted during this crisis

BECAUSE

In last 72 hours, CV19 infections and deaths have risen by over 30% in that period in Sweden !!!!!!!!!!!

Lockdown has not worked so far. The number of cases is increasing by the day at a higher rate than ever.

At some point we are going to have to accept that we are all going to catch it at some point and lift the restrictions so we can all enjoy at least some quality of life rather than being cooped up like frightened battery hens.

This is our SARS moment in the West.

Massive over reaction to something not really that bad hyped by media where governments are run by the popular not the intelligent.

I'm sure the force of totalitarianism will see how fearful we are in the face of it and take note.

Jeremy certainly did.

China has been a disaster for the WORLD

..... and just because Thrump has pointed out this glaring truth, The WOKE, SJW's, and Liberal Loons, do as they do, GO BLIND to Truth.

China is to blame... An Inconvenient Truth

Seasonal influenza epidemics are far deadlier than this cold virus, so why did they choose to destroy the world's economy this time?
Certain vested interests have pushed this panic and the grotesque overreaction to it.
If the BBC employed serious journalists we could perhaps examine this hidden agenda, but instead they just recycle propaganda.

Society lockdown for 18 months improves your chances of survival but limits society’s chance of survival - the economic impact (food, medicine and utility shortages) would kill millions...just to save you.

Also, why so negative? The worst category - over 80s - have 86% chance of surviving. Odds are in your favour. Stop reading headlines and start referring to statistics - keep calm.

Just depends on how you look at life. The modern display emotively incontinent see any deaths that get publicly reported as something to emote about. The normal dispassionate person reads the science etc. This bug is not that deadly. Even Government has described it as mild. The Black Death it is not! Seasonal flu kills too, never reported as a daily toll. Nhs issue only

This is a truly remarkable HYS.

Is it time to free the healthy from restrictions?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52543692

People aren't putting up with this pantomime anymore for something which is no worse than a flu.

It is the economy that keeps us alive and affords a quality of life.So a lifting of restrictions is now needed to keep the economy intact. It is possible that the Government have got this about right- not that they will get any recognition.

Eventually, there would come a point when the economy would be more important than people's lives.

I think we have reached this point.

Everything based on the 'science'. I bet you they don't even mention the word 'science' from now on as they release plans for the easing of the lockdown.

Governments throughout history have 'sacrificed' their own people for the so called 'greater good'

You can see what happens when people believe they are healthy and disregard social distancing just look at the BME death figures - double the norm. Here in Sheffield the media has reported that fines for ignoring the lockdown are very much higher in BME areas. But I expect the mods will condemn this observation as racist and so the true facts will be covered up again as they were in Rotherham.

End this ridiculous lock down

Let`s get back to work

let`s have a public inquiry into neil(lock down)ferguson

Why did the government follow neil ferguson`s(fake) coronavirus model

Neil ferguson

Wrong on bird flu, swine flu, foot and mouth disease, mad cow disease

Why weren't just the elderly and vulnerable locked down from the start? The evidence was there. One of two explanations:

1. The country is run by well meaning idiots, with their sychophantic media (BBC up there with the worst) and a thick, gullible public in tow.

2. There was a wider conspiracy, with Bill Gates at the top, to move us towards a surveillance state and mandatory vaccinations.

Borus makes General Haig look like a compassionate genius.

For the sake less than 100,000 he has condemned 60 million of us to a 20 years poverty.

Unlike the war where we all benefit in perpetuity from the sacrifice those who benefit from this will be long dead before we finish paying for it.

There were NO excess deaths prior to the lock down.

We went from no excess deaths and only a handful of covid deaths to 12,000 excess deaths in the space of three weeks when lockdown started, despite covid being present for months beforehand.

The lockdown did not save lives. It cost them.

I'm 69 and have several of the risk factors for covid 19. I'm not currently experiencing any significant symptoms. While I'm happy to comply with social distancing, I'm not prepared to live under house arrest indefinitely. When you dont have much time left, wasting it confined to the house is not acceptable. So get on with removing restrictions or I for one will start ignoring them.

Some say that as you get older your immune system weakens which is true, however what is also true is that Obesity, and Smoking also weakens your immune system a lot, whatever age you are.
Am I a medical person, no, but my wife was an immunologist at some UK and Canadian hospitals before she also retired.
Perhaps instead of the 70 plus age group we should keep all fat smokers locked up.

The healthy should never have been restricted in the first place. We knew who the vulnerable were so we should have put resources into protecting them. Meanwhile, the rest of us can recover from the infection in a short space of time so that we never have to fear a second spike. And the economy wouldn't have slumped. How will we pay for the NHS when we're bankrupt?

Feel free to indulge yourself and stay indoors if you're generally healthy but prefer not to work until you think it's 'safe'. Just dont expect everyone else to pay for it. Let's see how keen you are then. It's no worse than the flu for most, so grow a pair and get back to accepting life has risks. This country has been brought to its knees by spineless politicians and public hysteria.

Back in March a health professional on tv said cases would double every day. So by now the entire world has it. It only takes 34 days of doubling to get from 1 to 8 billion.

I guess that prediction went wrong.

Reality is if you have a decent immune system it kills it stone dead in a jiffy. Unless you work in a hospital and are exposed every day.

'I'm shielding but have 2 children. They will need to return to school so unless they shouldn't return until there is a vaccine, I can't be completely protected. I also have a full time job and a mortgage to pay for. '
...................

If you have a long-term health condition is it wise to have 2 children, a fulltime job, and a mortgage?

The Government has done a good job in a difficult situation. It is now time to start lifting the lockdown. The public have, in the main, adhered to the restrictions, and the public should now follow the new guidelines when they are introduced on Monday. Respect to those families who have lost loved ones, but life must go on.

It’s beyond their tiny minds that people with health conditions might also have ordinary lives. Or that people can have kids before their circumstances change.

UK migration: Net migration from outside EU hits 'highest level'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-52752656

Imperialists, little Englanders, colonialists...call this country what you like and appreciate its amazing legacy. If you dont like our country...bugger off, no one asked you here! Else, appreciate what we have. It may not be perfect (there's always bemoaners) but at least we can try to change it and not be beheaded, blown up, shot at, and disappear suddenly.

At least Non EU migration is mostly students and workers. We had too many freeloaders/criminals coming in from EU countries.

The UK welcomes people from all parts of the world

Not just the EU

Must be very annoying for lefties and remoaners

"ONS says a rise in students from China"

How many of those students are hanging around after their degree course and doing things like code dodgy epidimiology & climate models ?

Don't see any doing anything useful like grafting in the building trade.

Hardly surprising. Not sure what country I'm in anymore.

might be down to the fact they have heard there is a 80% handout going on offer and hospital waiting times have gone down

Indian IT entrepreneur and Filipino doctor in ....gangs of Romanian pan handlers and Bulgarian hand car wash workers not allowed

Depends on your mindset whether that's a plus or minus of leaving the EU I suppose

If we can't even keep hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants out, we've got no chance against terrorists!

The UK has to to many opportunities for illegal imargrants. Who are able to vanish into the wood work. Some of our take aways encourage it. If we stopped purchases for a few months. They'd be washed out and sorted.

I bet all u anti slagging off the tories are getting your wages paid...god help us if labour were in power u would be getting F*** all !
