I got an email from Sony saying I'd been invited to order a PS5 but didn't see it until a day after because it went it my 'other' folder

That was a pretty good run; they were available for over an hour-and-a-quarter, I think. Hopefully more will be available in January.

Can't see that happening until at least winter next year.

They're having enough trouble getting enough parts for this model, let alone making a new one.

Also rumour has it certain specs on the Switch OLED were changed because they couldn't get enough new parts.

This is me as well. I've had one in my basket about 5 or 6 times in the last year (could have got one today from Argos) and decided not to take the plunge. Feels good to be in control and resist the urge (whilst buying a load of other shite I don't really need).

It's a good/bad job you didn't post this earlier. I was trying to think of things to justify getting one, and wasn't finding enough. If I'd remembered Returnal, I might have gone for it. All gone now though!
