The problem with this thread is that they go so quickly, by the time the person noticing makes their post, they (especially the PS5) will be gone.
Anybody wanting a console needs to go join the appropriate Discord group and get notifications. Then they need to start making sure they are up about 7am, and use the Amazon Smile/Wishlist method.
Finding out through word of mouth is likely going to be too slow.

Series S was in stock last night (a whole 18 minutes after I saw the DF tweet) and I didn't know where to post about it. Hence the thread. But yes, don't solely rely on only this thread

I thought the Series S was in plentiful supply? Like that trade in offer in Game was because they had stock nobody was buying

This thread will be vital when the Switch Pro gets announced
Good idea for a thread though considering the shortages both are facing, really does make the S a very tempting console if you want to jump on next gen but can’t be bothered with the constant checking of stock and hoping you get lucky one day.

They still seem to run out pretty quickly, just not as fast as the 5 and X, there only ever seems to be 1-2 suppliers with stock of the S at any one time. My brother managed to grab the last S unit at his local store and had a few people behind him who wanted one.

I don't understand why more places don't let you 'pre-order'. Like just let me order on Amazon and then send it when they get them in stock. It was such a relief for me that MS said exactly when pre-orders went up for Series X because I couldn't deal with that constant checking. Last time I had to do that was for the special edition of Fire Emblem Fates as those things sold out so fast and was the only way to get the 3rd campaign on a cart. I had all sorts of trackers set up and the bugger finally went up as I was sat in a hotel in Berlin, with a phone that could only get wifi instead of actual phone signal. Email came through just as my taxi to the office turned up. Utter panic
I want to get the rumoured Switch revision but the thought of spending months trying to catch sites that have stock for about 2 minutes at a time fills me with dread.

I have been checking the discord since 8am yesterday! No doubt they will go up in 15 minutes time, when i leave work. Not that i can do much right now anyway - Game is blocked. I never would have realised until i tried creating an acocunt yesterday morning!
