If you haven't done the DZ "Intro" missions, do them at least.

The feeling in those unlock missions is spot on.
The DZs are deserted, spooky, desolate and scary.

It's like "I am Legend - The Game".

Plus the level design in them is great. DZ south is really fun to wander about it.

.. having said that though, I've not gone back in after these missions, when there's real people in them. Too much stress over getting ganked to enjoy the scenery/vibe. :(

Yeh ive done the intro missions. I know the top left DZ is a no go unless you're a pro basically, haven't really seen anyone the few times I've been in, but i don't venture very far as I get to scared

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

The Dark Zone in Division games is always an exercise in misery.
It's full of people who's only goal in life is to make the game as little fun as they can by camping DZ entrances and ganking you or by being massively overpowered or using exploits and just preying on those that have zero chance to fight back.

I have zero interest in entering the Dark Zone and I don't care if it's got all the best loot as I feel the chances of me actually getting to extract it without being jumped upon by a squad of twats is pretty much nil. Why bother spending 20 minutes killing a few NPC's in the DZ when you can just wait at an extraction point or better yet just kill the players who have low health just after the fight.

No thanks.

Nah the DZ was great in the first game. Too empty in the 2nd and they can't camp at entrances now as rogues because there are turrets that gun them down

Also, doesn’t the normalisation prevent people going in overpowered? I’ve not been in yet myself, so I may have misunderstood that part.

It's supposed to but there's always ways around that.
I've watched a few clips of people being ganked at dark zone exist (even with the turrets) and the normal crap that happens in the dark Zone.
If you enjoy it then fine but it's not for me and I'll not set foot in it.

Need to get back to this, but between Spider-Man, Sea of Thieves and Borderlands I haven't had time. Eugh.

What is the maximum of Gear Score you can achieve in D2?

515? I’m currently sitting on 508, but I seem cannot get any higher than 508 just yet.

Is GS 515 available from the Dark Zone, or will that be included in the next title update?

500 is the max that drops but recalibration has can get it up to 500 to 515

Don’t focus on gear score though - stats/talents are more important

A well geared 495 will be miles more effective than a ‘just get high GS’ 506

Big update next week, the raid will be added but not unlocked till shortly after to allow people to gear up.

Neutral lighting on all platforms.

Exotics are having their damage increased across the board.

After completing a mission, players have the option to look at a mission summary and evaluate how they performed based on a variety of statistics.

The streaming of textures has been improved for consoles

Cheers. I just got the Nemesis blueprint and I only need one more part for the sniper.

I am a little annoyed as the Raid has gone from having matchmaking a few months ago to having no matchmaking at all and is gated behind clan play or some bullshit lfg requirement process outside of the game or using in game chat that is not universal. Well that is a lot of people who can't play it.

I hear you but if they've somehow (and I'm not sure how they would do this at all) implemented the kind of mechanics you see in Destiny or similar then matchmaking isn't going to work, you need 8 committed players with a microphone willing to communicate and work together and matchmaking rarely provides that.

I play with a set group but I'm happy to post in here any agreed times and days we are raiding as I doubt we will be able to get a full 8 without LFGing. There are also plenty of people on here I am sure something could be sorted out so GRcaders could make up at least a bulk of a group of 8, I'd be happy to help if I'm free.

Have we even got a release date yet?
