Still have the PS4 version, but doubt I'll have any time on Boxing Day mate. Whole month is a bit of a write-off from the 20th onwards.

We'll pencil in a game on my birthday, 6th of January ;)

Has this got Survival mode in at launch? It was one of the DLC addons in the last game and despite hating it at first, when I learnt wtf I was meant to be doing amongst all the confusing numbers and things I got addicted and it's easily my fav thing about the original game.

No idea but the good thing is between the beta and the preview time for having EA access we should be able to get a pretty good impression of if this will be any good or not before we actually have to buy this.

It's a Ubisoft game.

I do hope it's got all the modes from the first game, especially survival as I never really played that and I'd like to spend more time with it.

Oh darn :fp: .

At least I get to try Anthem though :shifty: .
One of the two was going to get shoved onto a Boomerang rental and as we're playing this then Anthem will be the rental.

EA cut the price of Anthem now to £30 so it might work out cheaper for you to buy and then sell it.

Some Dark Zone & Multiplayer details!

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019 ... -dark-zone

- 3 Dark Zones
- PlayerStats are "normalised" (Everyone has the same base stats when in a Dark Zone). Levels the playing field a bit.
- One DZ at a time will be "occupied". No stat-normalisation and friendly-fire on. Plays like the original DZ. This rotates from DZ to DZ.
- Skirmish, TDM and Domination PVP modes from launch

DZ certainly sounds more "welcoming" than the first time around, though I'm glad they've got the mode for those who prefer the original experience.

EDIT: More details on the video as well.

- In the normal DZs you can choose when you want to damage other players, so you don't accidentally go Rogue.
- "Grey" activities allow you to do things that are a bit "dodgy" without going full Rogue. (Example given is forcing a chest/crate open and getting all of the loot instead of sharing it).

I’ve registered the beta ages ago and I hope I’ll be enabled to play this time.

If not, I’m sure I’ll buy it on the release day.

Looks like the price might be back up now but last week a number of retailers dropped the price to about £33 and because it was a number of retailers that all dropped to the same price, people suspected it was an EA price drop to stimulate bad pre-order numbers

Dunno if I'll get into the beta.. Can't afford the outlay on the pre-order to guarantee it :(

Can you pre-order from amazon?
That's what I've done and they only take payment on dispatch so you should be able to get the code and still be able to cancel before release if the beta is a bit gooseberry fool.

I had some PSN credit spare so I just dove in on that. Taking a chance but I'm confident they haven't strawberry floated it.

Apparently the emails go out on wednesday.

If you get in you can invite 3 freinds but no idea if that is platform locked or if it can be any 3 uplay friends.

https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.c ... vate-beta-

Oh and I think it's a good thing they are doing a preload for all platforms as the Private Beta download size will be 46 GB.
