Read about and it appears to be a known issue for some players. Basically makes the skill unusable as they disappear and reset the cooldown about 2-5 seconds after you activate them.

Yeah Devs are said they're aware. It seems to be something to do with skill cooldowns (which are wildly inconsistent) and abilities that modify them

Yes, I had that last night. Figured I’d just done something wrong! Turret ran for a few seconds then disappeared, but the cooldown was only set to about 15 seconds.

And now you mention it, it did only seem to occur after I unlocked/applied something that mentioned reducing cooldown. Can’t remember what it was. I was drowning in gear and unlocks at the time.

Yes constantly. My drone would appear then disappear within seconds. Tended to happen inside more than outside so figured it was crashing into the ceiling or being shot down. Glad its a bug and hope its fixed soon.

I think it was a weapon that had a cooldown reduction perk. I’ll try unequipping it to see if it fixes it.

This game is under my skin already. Sat at work, itching to get back to DC. There’s so much I need to do there.

The 8-player raid sounds intriguing. If I’m only one of eight, I might actually be able to take part without feeling like my lack of ability is hampering the team. Of course, finding a squad is a different matter.

When you get downed in the game you can request backup from any other players who might be nearby.

I've not used it because strawberry float waiting on the off chance some random bothers to come res me.

It’s ok to ignore them. If you can live with yourself.

I answered a call last night. Guy wasn’t down, or even in trouble. Just trying to do a control point. Having said that, he did then get downed, so I rescued him and felt heroic.

Only problem: I couldn’t figure out how to then disconnect from his session. Ended up having to log out completely to return to my own game.

I think I’ll only use calls if I’m downed in a no-respawn area. I assume you can still use them there.

Yeah answering the call and rushing to get them up is the intent - but 9/10 they'll have respawned and you'll have no idea what activity to do

Leaving a session - options, social menu (on the left) then your name, then "leave session" or something similar

The Cooldown / Skills Glitch is the Devs "Number 1 priority" apparently:

https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/co ... operly_is/

It has been posted and asked many times in the last couple of days. Yes - there is an issue with the skills, they reset - in some cases - after 15 seconds and the devs are working on that issue. In fact - it is one of their highest priority fixes:

This is our highest priority right now and we understand how incredibly frustrating it can be. I died to it yesterday as well, I feel your pain. As pointed out already here in the thread, fixing this issue is something we want to do right to not include more bugs with it. That means it's taking a bit longer than we want but the dev team is hard at work to fix this. We're also planning to add other fixes to that patch, which hopefully will have a positive impact for everybody.

I'd have to laugh Lewis if there was another 44gb patch incoming to fix it.
