Word is there's a respawning underground boss with Rare loot drops in the tunnels south of the white house, directly south of where you start the beta.
Has armour made out of chains and uses a chainsaw.

There will be an update to download for PC and PS4 players with some fixes. Apparently it can take up to 20 mins for it to install on PS4.

Note to PS4 players – while this patch is only 189mb, it might take longer than normal to install. You can download and install the patch right now and be ready for the servers coming online again.

Fixed several sources of game server crashes that resulted in DELTA-3 error messages.
Audio issues with NPCs in languages other than English have been fixed.
PC and PS4 players will not crash upon launching the game when accepting a group invite outside of the game anymore.

I have started coming across supply drops now.

The level 30 characters are in now for the invasion mission. You just select them from the character select screen.

I think I will be booking off launch day tbh.

It does feel like this is how the game should always have been played.
I hope they keep it like this and don't revert to listening to the streamers who demand that difficulty is ramp'd up to 11 again and that drops be super rare so that set building is a strawberry floating nightmare where you had to beat content in order to get the items needed to help you beat that content.

We also don't need to go back to it be pointless to use anything but whatever the super overpowered set of month (which is almost impossible for anyone but the most dedicated hardcore to get) is as that just made most people cannon fodder for the griefers.

The invasion mission is a doozy. I can forsee a lot of people raging because they rush ahead.

If you have reached level 7 and not gone to the DZ I suggest you do, it's quite good.

And after the others went to bed I stayed up and did some solo exploring/crafting/looting.

Ended up with a bunch of cool weapons and a load of blue gear.

All I want to do is play this from breakfast until bed, but I can't because I'm the responsible parent this weekend :'(

Looks awesome, Lewis. I remember that you hugely enjoyed the original game and it sounds like this new version is good fun, too.

They infact are the devs. TBH when people ask specific questions regarding what they do you do get quite detailed info.

So far I have killed rats, birds, racoon, fox, dogs and deer. I have still not found the cats and there may be rabbits.

I’ve played some more last night and I’m definitely getting it on day one.

I do want to play more on the beta, but at same time I want to be surprised for the full game.

I'm the same though, me and Peter did the Endgame invaded mission and instead of exploring I called it a night - I was thinking I'll only have to collect and explore this whole place again in a month!

The end game mission wasn't too hard in the end.
Peter was the demolition expert and he saved his grenade launcher for the final boss, made short work of them.
The rest of the mission was good, we only had one bit which we failed (prevent them accessing the isac system before the time runs out - we didn't realize there was a time limit!).

But I had the dude with the crossbow, having a healing drone AND a healing seeker mine got me out of most scrapes. Barely had to replenish my ammo manually at all.

But strawberry float ME those exploding drones coming every 15-20 seconds. It's the new grenade spam.
Cheeky Devlin is going to love them :lol:

Going to try the dark zone this evening I think.

When does the beta end?
