Just completed the Endgame and it was good.

I think I’ve had enough and I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far. Day one for me.

The Raid with eight players sounds great!

Forgot to mention that I kept thinking of this last night while doing the Endgame mission:

I'm going to give the Dark Zone a miss as it's the one aspect of the game I have zero interest in as from my experience it's just a hive for griefers and people praying on those with less gear than them.

I had a go at the beta, and having not been bothered, I’m quite interested now. So I checked the release details. Standard edition is £60. Yeah, that’s ridiculous. I’ll wait.
EDIT: £47 at CDKeys is more reasonable.

I would recomend unlocking it as its a nice little sub mission. There is no pvp untill after it is unlocked and if you choose to go back in to the dz.

I've enjoyed what little I've played of the beta, love the attention to detail in the enviroments.
Probably not going to play much more of it though as I don't see the point since all my progress will be reset in the main game.

Didn't actually manage to get into the DZ last night. Saving it for the full release.
While I wanted to pour lots of hours into it on the last evening of the Beta, I kinda figured I don't want to be repeating myself when the full game comes out.

Overall though, loved it - More of the same, with improvements made where needed.
Granted, there are some negative aspects. But with how much they managed to change TD1 compared to TD1 at launch, I'm confident this'll be fantastic sooner rather than later.

Playing with the guys was good again, shame we only managed two nights of the beta, but we're busy boys nowadays :D

Day 1 for me :datass:

Yeah I didn't get a chance on Saturday, and Solo'd a little earlier on Sunday night.

I definitely felt I'd seen enough and that pushing on further would mean more I'd have to replay when it launches.

I must say though that I thought it looked awful on PS4. Not sure if the Pro looks any better, but performance was shockingly gooseberry fool. Texture pop in was horrendous and took forever to load. It felt like running around a game with pre-N64 levels of detail as the low-res/far distance textures stayed for up to a minute at a time. Utterly horrific. Same for the low-detail polygons on things like trees, which took forever to load in.
Beyond that I didn't see any framerate issues, though I did notice transparent wall textures, invisible obstacles and really poor object pop in.

So from a technical point of view it's pretty bad (At least on PS4). I also played the PC version (Admittedly my PC is far more powerful than the PS4) and it was so much better. Just a shame the PC userbase for this here is so slim, otherwise I'd have picked it up on that. I still might further down the line actually.

Luckily the game itself is fantastic and I can't wait for launch now.

Played the Beta - it was awful.

At one stage I had 9 ICONS listed on screen after only 20mins. Get F**ked.

There was reports from quite a few people on the Divison sub-reddit that the PS4 Pro version really was terrible looking.

My only complaint was that the lighting seemed really flat and washed out compared to TD1.
I managed to "fix" it, but dropping the brightness right down to 2 (default is 10). Looked massively improved. With dark areas actually being dark, and daylight not looking like washed out and bland.

I'll post some comparison screenshots later.

If the Xbox version is noticeably improved over the PS4 version, I can see about trying to Sneak an xbox into the house Albear style :slol:

Apparently so:

I played the beta on the xbox and it's ok.

However, it's incredibly buggy, I sure hope they've sorted the problems out by release date. I was getting sound drop outs. Weird online gameplay where my co-op buddy was invincible and then would suddenly appear performing all of the movements I didn't see.

I did like the drone bombing, that was a nice touch and I forgotten how good the covering system was.

I had some pop-up issues, but it is understandable cos it is a beta.

I think the disc with install data should solve this in the full product.

Obviously can't speak for other versions but although I hated the game it looked stunning on X1X, deffo 4K and didn't notice pop in or lods effecting anything. Up there with the best lighting and visuals on X1X as whole.

First game looked phenomenal as well, especially at night when there was a snowstorm.

Absolutely.
I think I really do miss the snow from the first game.

There was something about trudging down long frozen roads with the cold wind howling between the buildings, and the snow settling on your shoulders, and snowflakes illuminated by streetlights - it felt horrifically desolate and really added to the atmosphere.
