The PS4 version was quite disappointing, visually. Especially when I then turned on the PC version which looked absolutely gorgeous. Genuinely looked phenomenal on 4K with most of the effects at High.

Then went back to PS4 and it's eye vomit. :?

I'm hoping they manage to optimise the load-in of textures and details as it was hilariously bad.

Eye vomit!

I'd really love to play it on a PC. I imagine mouse and keyboard would be leagues above playing this on a pad.

Realistically.. a PC capable of running this well is going to cost a lot I imagine?

Yeah, it reminded me of the Gears of Wars games. Textures and gooseberry fool take an age to load.

I was managing between 40-60fps with a mixture of Ultra and High settings @ 1080p on my PC with a now old i5 6600, GTX 1060 6GB and 16GB ram. If it wasn't for 4K and HDR from the Xbone X version I'd happily get it on PC as I put hundreds of hours into the 1st game and was happy locking that to 40fps with max graphics settings. Maybe when it's cheap I'll double dip the PC version but for now I want the Deluxe/Gold version on Xbone.

Actually loaded up the 1st game after playing the Beta and still think it looks fantastic and a much better atmosphere in the dark, snowy streets of NYC.

I think I just got the first game on uplay via humble bundle. May have a look at it, see how sexy it is.

The first game looked great on PS4 and it'll be a shame if this second one is a step backwards from that. I didn't play the beta but - from what I've seen on YouTube vids - the reception generally seems to have been pretty positive.

As per my previous posts.. knocking down the brightness to 2 was a massive improvement for me.

Brightness at default 10:

Brightness at 2:

It's subtle, but a big improvement for me in my opinion.

More brightness 2 shots:

And some trophies

Will we have to download it all again, or can we just open the private beta again?

I don't want to download it again

Not a clue they need to announce more info so I wouldn't delete right now.

Is this still private or an open beta?

I have deleted the beta but I know I will definitely buy it anyway. :)

Apparently the open beta will just patch the closed beta so if you have it still installed you should be fine.

Massive are doing a limited test on PC from the 21st to 22nd Feb, they will email those who have randomly been picked. They are doing it to test the fixes they have so far implimented.
