Pootering into Warlords - it's pretty 2 (2 bosses down) but it feels like more of the same.

Very pretty, long missions with varied environemtns. So returning to it is great - but I'm not sure if the new endgame is much cop for longtime people looking for new stuff

Every time I think I’m at the endgame it keeps throwing more and more missions at me. Remixed from existing maps? Yeah but so what?
Kinda hoping it ends soon though, the enemies are getting really bullet-spongey at world tier 5. Although that might be the point?

Really not sure about Warlords Endgame as solo player

It’s seems all XP for Shd levels (and loot roll) hunting

But there doesn’t seem to be an easy path to how to know you’re ready for more XP farming (from higher difficulties or directives) and matching making takes ages (maybe because of options)

Am I missing something obvious? I miss gear score :(

I wonder why they decided to change from gear score as it was a super simple system for everyone to follow.

I get what rolls are good now - it couldn't be simpler.
But before there was a good indication of relative "power" of your character to world

Maybe I've strawberry floated up but I've got really good Red stats on Gear, but get enviseracted on Normal. Maybe I should diverse more - I've started but so far hasn't made much difference.

I think I had a clan, or a regular group playing, setting up missions or directives would be easy. But I don't want to hold a hard group back and I don't know it Directives would REALLY limit my pool of matchmaking chums

Ah, the good old bought but never bothered playing trick.
I remember having Alan Wake of pre-order with amazon for 5 years and eventually it arrived and I then stuck it in my collection and forgot to actually play it :shifty: .

What a fantastic investment :msgreen: .

I enjoyed the story, problem I have since finishing it I have had nothing to do there as the control points are stuck on green so i have gone back to DC.

This was 4 quid on PSN the other day so I couldn’t say no and picked it up.

I really enjoyed the first but due to some bad timing never got really into the online so it’s a shame the same will be here too. Fortunately the single player is meaty and nice fairly mindless fun. I like some of the new mission types but there also seems to be far less buildings to go in and they appear to have gotten rid of contamination zones altogether. Pretty disappointed by the absence of those things as the indoor bits and the little personal stories you would get were some of my favourite moments from the first. I can’t really see that they’ve been replaced by anything either. As far as sequels go this seems to be more of a simple reskin with some elements removed.

Maybe it opens up more later.

For me the main upgrade for Division was the toning down of grenade spam and less bullet spongy enemies.
The areas do get better and the skills can work pretty well together.
The Dark Zone was still terrible and a no-go for me as it was always full of the strong preying on the weak or simply players who didn't feel like playing ultra sweaty at all times.

The game is well worth sticking with and the story can be done solo.
Obviously what they want you to do is stick with it past that form the raids and stuff but again it seemed like the game falls into the age old problem of it being ultra hard and only accessible to people who've got the time to grind for the best equipment which I just can't be bothered to do anymore.
The fact that they periodically change what equipment is worth having means even though I have a character I spent a load of time on and have some stuff that may have been use to you it's all a load of gooseberry fool now as I suppose it just means people have to grind again for the new best stuff.
I'd give the game during story mode a 9/10.

How long is the single player campaign roughly? I’m tempted to get it in the PSN sale for under a fiver, but not fussed about co-op or multiplayer activities

I paid full price at launch and I felt I got value for money if it helps.
£5 is a bloody bargain.

Yeah, Pete was right this is really pretty good in solo. Perfect game to just turn off and run through with something on. I'm still disappointed that there's not as much miscellaneous indoor stuff but assaulting and then defending the Washington Monument was pretty strawberry floating cool. Overall story seems a definite step up too. I don't think I understand all the systems like crafting yet, but clearing the city and alone is fun enough itself.

This is an absolute no brainer for £4

Bought on PS4, then saw even cheaper on XBL at £3odd and thought with getting Series X, it’d be worth having it available for that so double dipped!

Just started it and done a mission but not sure if it was with an NPC or a real person. How do you tell?
Seems a bit confusing for a noob
