Anyone happen to have Batman Begins/Dark Knight on Blu-ray (or Triple Play) they're looking to sell? I'm guessing there are some here who bought the 3 movie box set when DKR came out and so might have their old 2 movie box set to spare.

PM me, cheers.

Does The Wire complete boxset ever drop below £40? Seems kinda expensive to still be over £40 for a 5 year old boxset.

It's awful. Just watch it when you're really bored... That may lessen the burden?

Already seen it before pre-ordering so knew what I was getting myself in for. Besides it's only to complete the collection :shifty: and the 3D is actually very good :shifty:

Clue (brilliant film)

I only ever buy blu-rays these days. DVD quality is just... unpleasant to look at now that I have become accustomed to 1080p pictures, and I love the sound quality of blu-ray films.

Oh, by the way, LotR extended trilogy - £29.95.

I own an original starship troopers flip disc DVD. Nothing breaks the immersion more than having to get up, change disc then sit through more anti piracy ads, trailers etc. before carrying on with the film.

Well you'll be happy to know the second disk just kicks in. Nothing at the start.

Still have to get up off ass cheeks to walk across room. Open disc drive, find second disc, replace first disc back into package, put second disc into player, walk back across room, get comfy again. Continue watching..

That's about 20 seconds of my life wasted.

I bet you shoot your TV like your avatar when he can't find the remote.

It's ok if you treat it like an interval at the theatre. Part 1 finishes, you get up, nip to the loo, go to the bar, get some ice-creams, then come back and stick part 2 in twenty minutes later when you're all refreshed and ready to carry on.

You'd have to be mental to sit through all four hours of the film in one sitting.

I hate intervals in films. Fair enough in a kids film where they'd have no attention span but during an adventure film? No thanks.

In fact, the interval just gives the banana splits more chances to restock on noisy food and completely takes you out of the film.

I watched Two Towers and Return of the King each in one sitting, and honestly it was pretty brutal. The disc swaps are pretty well timed though.
