Hey, that might be a good solution for you English folks. Split the country in two.

The sovereign country of Brexitland. Has a nice ring to it.

Morgan Stanley have tipped May's government to fall over in 2018, which will trigger a fresh election.

Any ideas what this could be?

Probably a boring cabinet reshuffle, but I'm hoping she announces a snap referendum. ;)

I can't imagine she'll become that professional over the next few weeks.

I can't actually see her calling a second referendum so I'll actually go for a reshuffle as there has been talk of one taking place already. That said I really didn't think she call a snap election.

If it's a cabinet reshuffle, and talks are pushed back, then they just succeeded in wasting more time. Yay.

Good. They'd lose any credibility they have if they let it through. It's a blatant power grab by people who don't give a flying strawberry float about the general population.

The government are going to look like a bunch of amateurs if the bill fails. It'll be very funny indeed.

I dunno, they will only look like amateurs to those who disagree with the bill, brexit or the governments position. Others will see Labour as the big evil who are trying to derail Brexit, you only have to read the comments on this story to see the thousands of people who are blindly behind Brexit and the Tory party http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4854202/Corbyn-vows-Labour-vote-AGAINST-EU-repeal-bill.html#comments

Don't need workers rights when you don't have a job.

Thing is, at this point Brexiteers have to be a noisy minority. They only won the referendum by a tiny margin and every stat suggests support has shrunk since then. Thats what frustrates me most about all this is I'm almost certain if we had another referendum (not calling for one, just saying if there was one) Leave would almost certainly lose.

That's a very good point

Just been reading some transcripts of the David Davis addressing MP's about negotiations. Rees Mogg is a very silly man.
