It's our number 1 concern, I presume you don't watch RTE much.

Never seen RTE. We couldn't get it when I was younger as we were too far north. Well, that's what I was told by my parents

I said that because I feel like there's a general apathy about Brexit up here. And we don't have Stormont running, so it's good that the man seems to be fighting for both ROI and NI.

EU's response "We like Mr Davis's English sense of humor"

Davis knows he's chuffed and is angling the victim story already

It's funny, for a long time I thought RTE and RT were the same thing - and was very confused about the reasons Russia would be using an Irish tv channel for propaganda purposes.

Oh absolutely. This is just prep work for him to be able to say "We tried but the EU were being totally unreasonable and wouldn't compromise with us so it's all their fault!"

For a guy so highly educated, this is quite disheartening to behold.

I don't think I can handle JRM at his best.

David Davis apparently told a room full of German business reps that people should not put "politics above prosperity". Multiple people were rushed to a nearby hospital due to irony induced aneurysms.

It's being reported by The Telegraph that the EU are going to withhold the rebate we get because of all this. No other sources have confirmed this yet.

That's pretty gooseberry fool if true.

I'd suspect it's more because of a lack of agreement on the exit bill, so the rebate is being offset against it.

Thats really not a good move if you ask me. It will make a lot of people very angry and make a hard exit much more likely. Even though the figure is far below what we would end up paying anyway. I would be very surprised if it was legal as well.

Did anyone else briefly think that quote was actually the title of the book?
