Christ, even Karlprof is going in to do A-Levels now, I feel like I'm an old man. I remember the days of old GR, where Karl was a baby and I myself was only 13. :(

I've achieved and done more in this year than most humans on Planet Earth will ever do in their lives. Yet I'm miserable. Intellectualism is weighing me down like a sullen mix of Kafka/Moliere and Murdoch.

Shame.

Such a gifted individual having to go thru clearing :( .

Unfortunately didn't achieve as much as "the humans" who'll be at Edinburgh studying P+E Lit. this year did, obviously.

At least now there's a reason to feel miserable.

GCSE Results:

Additional Mathematics - U
Applied ICT - A* (written as 'Distinction' but I know that means A*)
Art - B
Biology - A
Chemistry - A
English Language - A
English Literature - B
Geography - A
Graphic Products - C (I actually sat this in Y10 and got the result last summer but I felt like including it)
History - B (I was really disappointed with this one)
Maths - A*
Physics - A

Not a bad set, but I could (and probably should) have done a lot better. Really pleased with the Science As (especially Chemistry and Biology), the Geography A (as I made a complete hash of the first paper) and the Art B (as I was never particularly good at Art) - but the History B is a real low blow as I don't understand where it all went wrong :(

I think most of us would trade intelligence for the ability to pull with a click of their fingers anyday. :-P Well those of us who can't pull! Some people get blessed with both.... :o

I think we need a brains or beauty poll. For both yourself and what you'd like to see in your partner.

I know the feeling, Exxy.

My problem is that I know I could have done better but I was just incessantly lazy and I hated coursework. I could have probably got an A or B in Science but my coursework was an F so only got a C.

Happy for my younger bro. He finally got his English GCSEs (two Cs) which was difficult for him because he is doing them after everyone else so it's hard to be motivated and he's really dyslexic. Got an A an B for vocational A-level Art & Design so he's on a good track now after not so great GCSEs. :D

Reckon he should do Art Foundation while it is still free and then work from there..

Got my resit results through, and I got me my Third Class Honours.

Still no word from the uni on when I officially graduate/get my degree certificate. If I have to wait until August next year, I might just chew my own arm off.

If you didn't get the grades you wanted don't worry too much guys. I got a first class degree after only getting BBD at A level.

I got more A* grades than Karlprof... and this was six years ago, when GCSEs were much harder. 8-)

Six years! strawberry floating hell, that's a long time.
