A couple more of the Renault.

Should hopefully find their way further up the grid this year with the car actually being designed around the Renault power unit. Prost has apparently joined the team in an advisory role too.

I'm loving the look of the cars this year, much prettier.

Always liked the RenaultSport yellow. I like the Sauber colour scheme as well. Not keen on the fins though,

Undoubtedly. Theres too much aero gain to not run with one if you can. If a car launches without one, you can guarantee it'll be sporting one at the first test.

Love this part of the season, so many little bits to look out for.

What's the reason they all have fins? What's changed that means they need one now?

Better airflow to the rear wing, and they'd have been running them but the regulations prohibited it (along with barge boards etc but they found ways to bring them back legally). Now there is an open area there behind the engine cover so back it goes.

The fin seems to be make or break for how these cars look. The Renault looks quite nice but that Force India is a right state, all because the fin on it looks gooseberry fool.

Also I believe they help prevent rollovers in a crash - if the car goes sideways at speed then the big surface area acts as a sort of air brake to keep it the right way up.
