Hopefully it'll be as good as Baku.

Just got the tickets for Abu Dhabi.

My God, the budget

You can see where the money goes, it’s deliciously swanky. Also get access to the pit walk of Thursday which is a nice surprise as I’ve never done that before.

The music for the Brazil national anthem sounds like a Grant Kirkhope piece

I thought that was Max's fault. He left absolutely no room and cut off Ocon who was entitled to unlap himself. It seemed to be a real lack of experience.

Yeahs he's entitled to unlap himself but surely you should do it when you're not at risk of actually taking out the race leader? Thought the 10 second stop go was about right really.

My take on it is the 10 second penalty is wrong. Ocon was faster and unlapping himself. It doesn't matter if he's going past the race leader or anyone else. Ocon had the racing line and Max effectively turned into him. Earlier in the race a similar incident occurred on the exact same corner. I can't remember who was involved but I'm that scenario the driver who was being overtaken was forced wide and went slightly off the track. If he had held his position then he would have hit the driver coming past him which is what Max ended up doing. When this happened the commentators agreed that the overtaker had the racing line and was in the right.

Max certainly should be investigated and penalised for shoving Ocon after the race as well.

Yeah I don't doubt that something will happen about his action after the race, not exactly a good way to express your disappointment.

Re the incident didn't Max have his nose ahead? Meaning he was entitled to take his line through the corner? The crap thing about the whole blue flags is that Ocon would have probably quickly gotten shown blue flags again if he didn't pull a sufficient gap quickly so would have just have to let Max back through. Still I think while he was entitled to unlap himself he really should have made it a clear cut, clean move elsewhere on the track. Sure Max could have moved but that's not exactly how Max thinks.

Entitled to unlap himself but only in a risk free way, you have to recognise your position and respect the leading drivers. I think both drivers showed inexperience there. Max is a mighty impressive driver but my word he is also a colossal cock!

I don't think being against the race leader makes any difference, would it have been different if second or third were being overtaken?

Max also lost seconds whilst he pulled alongside Ocon to flip the bird. I think with experience and a cooler head, he wouldn't have put himself in the position and would have won the race.

Amazing, I've just heard someone (who watches every race) say "Hamilton won again without overtaking anyone. I don't think he's overtaken a single person this year has he? It's the car that's won the races, he's just been sitting in it".

Casual f1 fans everyone.

I think it was Ocon's fault but do agree that Verstappen's immaturity played a part. Hamilton of 10 years ago would have done the same but there's no way Hamilton of 2018 would have been involved in that collision.
