If she has a fractured spine, I'd imagine the bigger concern is making sure there's no spinal cord damage. Gotta have sensation to feel pain. Horrible accident, that.

Maybe the Ocon/Max incident was poetic justice for what happened there in 2001. 8-)

Multiple twitter sources, AMuS and Motor/Autosport are claiming that Kubica has signed to drive for Williams in 2019 which will likely be announced tomorrow.

https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/kubi ... 9/4301134/

Polish oil company PKN Orlen is apparently backing him and becoming a sponsor for Williams.

If true, I'm looking forward to how he performs. Testing is one thing but racing will probably push his abilities a bit more.

He's in a Williams so thankfully that won't be an issue :dread:

Pah, he'll be able to race the leaders a lot, when he's getting lapped

Nah, hopefully Williams will make a good jump next year.

Have pretty great seats in the South Grandstand, can see most of the second straight, right across to the Marina and even the cars disappearing under the hotel. It's pretty mad how much you get included in the tickets too, it's a great venue but a bit of a pain to get around as its so big.

Did the karting at the circuit today too which was fantastic and only about £20. Me and my bro were 2 and 3 out of about a dozen. He was better because of a really good consistency. Both managed to get under the marker of being 'very good' so said some previous matters anyway. Just under 3 seconds away from the lap record which doesn't seem bad for 15 minutes. Tempted to do it tomorrow as well!

Qualifying was alright, hoping for a good race with Ricciardo doing well. The cars look great under the lights, the top teams and the Renault especially.

Time for adventure

That Billy Monger is an inspiration. There's a 1 off documentary about him (I think its on iplayer) which I highly recommend you watch. I think I got something in my eye at the end :shifty:

Yeah the documentary was on on Tuesday I believe, sometime last week anyway and as you said, well worth a watch.

Dam these feels for Alonso as well, never saw him win any of his WDC's (obviously watched highlights) but I think he'll certainly be missed. Just hope McLaren don't finally get their act together for next year or he'll be kicking himself.

He pretty much just told brundle he'll be back. Id imagine if a top team came knocking you'd see him again. I enjoyed him winning his championships, really felt like an underdog (even though he wasn't).
