And alright, some of them I don't remember. Plastic toy record players, Ewbank carpet sweepers, etc.

But the third one down, I gooseberry fool you not, was a strawberry floating slide.

Are people really *that* bothered that Matt Hancock or Boris Johnson got tested? They are leading us through these unusual ( I will not say that word!! ) times & I think without these leaders, who knows where we'll be, so it makes sense to me...
Like they are leading the country in this whole thing & if it was them vs me, I'd be like crack on mate, you can save millions, I just help people buy and sell cars faster...

25% of the NHS currently self-isolating potentially for no reason but whatevs lol

For anyone who thinks the lockdown isnt important or necessary, or doesnt apply to them think about this.....
On 6th March 6 people died from coronavirus.
A month later and almost 5000 people have died. Just in this country!
How many of those people celebrated last Xmas without a clue that their death was coming for them? ALL OF THEM!

5000 isn’t bad out of 60 million people

60 million people haven’t caught it yet

doesn’t mean they are all going to die does it.

if people stay in doors it will not get to 10k

If the UK manages to get through this with less than 25,000 people dying a lonely, painful, frankly horrible [edit] and entirely avoidable [edit-ends] death it'll be a miracle.

I'd be concerned about the ones who did know.

So no Muslims, Jews, Hindus or Sikhs have died?

Avoid Christianity, it causes COVID-19.

We were awoken this morning at 6.40a.m. by a skip lorry collecting a skip from outside a neighbours house.
Firstly, why the f*ck are they working at that time of the morning, especially on a Bank Holiday and secondly, is skip collection really a front line service???

Jesus didn't get tortured to death so that we could have skips collected early in the morning!

Why do boomers post gooseberry fool like this? Is it to make them feel better because kids today actually have it pretty good?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Nostalgia used to be considered a psychological disorder.

It probably still should be.

It's to convince themselves that they actually enjoyed their childhoods, which by all accounts sound strawberry floating miserable.
