The bicycle is the slow death of the planet.

General Director of Euro Exim Bank Ltd. got economists thinking when he said:

"A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy: he does not buy cars and does not borrow money to buy. He does not pay for insurance policies. He does not buy fuel, does not pay for the necessary maintenance and repairs. He does not use paid parking. He does not cause serious accidents. He does not require multi-lane highways. He does not get fat.
Healthy people are neither needed nor useful for the economy. They don't buy medicine. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. Nothing is added to the country's GDP (gross domestic product).
On the contrary, every new McDonald's restaurant creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 dietary experts and nutritionists, and obviously, people who work at the restaurant itself."

Choose carefully: cyclist or McDonald's? It is worth considering.

P.S. Walking is even worse. Pedestrians don't even buy bicycles.

That has to be satire, surely?!

It's certainly not satire from the person that posted it, the original could be though.

My brother spent a good portion of last night winding up a Blackburn fans page on FB that has been posting all kinds of disgusting gooseberry fool throughout the Euros(example - calling that wee German girl a stupid nazi cow). Our aunt, at 2am, made a big FB post about how "people who were born in England shouldn't be jumping on the anti-England bandwagon," and promptly deleted it this morning.

Sadly for her he was on nightshift and has screenshotted it.

They did a Go Fund me style thing for that little girl, raised over £30,000 for her.

She decided to give it to UNICEF. That's strawberry floating class.

At £30 a pop you may as well just get one. At the very least it'll be a good ice breaker in an interview

I didn't want to be rude, so I thought I'd take to Facebook and gooseberry fool on it to all of my friends.

Christ.

A few years ago I taste tested McDonald's coffee as part of my Barista Maestro course (that was my actual job title ). It wasn't very good to be honest but I think it's actually much improved now. I'll quite happily knock back an Americano from there.

I just logged in to my account for the first time in years to find an old photo, and spent 10 minutes trying and failing to even find anything of mine on there. How the strawberry float do people use that gooseberry fool every day? No wonder they end up thinking the world is flat and drinking horse piss.

I really wish they would close all Petrol stations and just allow emergency services and delivery drivers access. I really can't believe how selfish people can be. I literally have no fuel in my car and went to get my normal £20 from my local petrol station to just get the kids to nursery and back and they have no fuel . This is a petrol station in the country!! I am really disappointed all the people who are panic buying fuel should be ashamed. I'm sure these people will not be happy when the prices go up.
