1x04- Dat episode. :datass: My prediction Sam becomes Cap at the end of episode 5 is looking increasingly likely.

Daniel Bruhl is fantastic as Zemo and I sincerely hope he survives this season. Give him a Thunderbolts show already.

That was...brutal. Jesus.

Excellent episode. I'm really pleased with the direction this series has taken, and looking forward to seeing where it goes in the next two episodes. Zemo's still the absolute MVP of the series though.

I thought we agreed this was a "spoilers allowed" zone now?

It was very good, but they laboured the point a bit at the end - I get that they are trying to make the point that New Cap has crossed a line, that what he represents has been destroyed as a result ... but at the same time it's hard to fully buy into that when Steve killed strawberry float loads of people in brutal ways, many of whom were probably in an equally grey space of not necessarily being 'bad guys' like this.

Still easily the best episode so far though :datass:

Steve just had the common sense not to do it infront of an audience

Wasn't Steve also like Batman in the fact he never actually killed (but really actually did, just they all magically healed broken backs and gooseberry fool in hospital).

That was a great episode.

The Avengers, not the Nazis

Steve Rogers didn't do revenge killings. He is a soldier though, sometimes people will die. My wife made the point that Bucky "dying" reinforced Steve's goodness, but Harry Kane basically went full Homelander after Battlestar died.
I don't know if I'm supposed to spoiler or not...

No, he kills people all the time in the films

Yeah his kill count is insane, dude's a strawberry floating killing machine.

No problem with his Nazi hits obviously, but he didn't really flinch when moving from killing full on obvious baddies to just taking out whoever he was pointed at in the subsequent movies!

I thought last week's episode was really bad, but this one was much much better. I'm back on board.

What if it was the Nazi who gives food to ‎Władysław Szpilman in the Pianist?

I think it'll be interesting to see where they go with this Captain America. I personally think,

He might renounce the shield after realising what a dick he's been rather than going full villain.

If this wasn't on Disney, we would've seen Cap decapitate that poor man with the shield.

I hope Karli strawberry floats him up, but he's going to become US Agent so that's unlikely. Bucky & Falcon, on the other hand...

Textbook protest control techniques from Cap to be fair, can see where the UK police have been getting their training :datass:

There are two whole films about him flinching at being pointed in the way of ambiguous targets!
