The Falcon and The Winter Soldier | Disney+ | 1st Episode OUT NOW

Sam Wilson aka Falcon learns of a rising threat while juggling challenges at home in Louisiana. Bucky Barnes desperately tries to reintegrate into society, but struggles with nightmares revealing terrifying actions as Winter solder that may not be nightmares after all.

Gonna watch them all binge-style like I did with WandaVision. Easily my most anticipated Marvel show out of them all, Netflix ones included. Bucky :wub:

Really enjoyed it. No spoilers, but I thought it did a great job of building the characters of Falcon and Bucky and showing what the world's status quo is after the un-blipping.

Not watched any previews so going in blind. After how good wandavision turned out, I'll happily give any of these shows a try now.

Funny, I'm not thst in to Marvel stuff, but after the first few wandavisions, when the marvel logo bit plays at the start with the home cinema sound cranked right up, I ended up being like this

I enjoyed it, I liked that they gave you time to get to know more about the characters and their motivations. The chin on the "new hero", could have a family of 10 under that and the rain wouldn't touch them.

Excellent beginning to the series and I'm keen to see what happens next.

Why aren't the other Avengers chipping in to fix his boat though? I thought they were all friends.

That was really good. That action sequence at the start was fantastic, great to see Falcon really do his thing. And was that Batroc?

Nice opening, gave us a nice bit of action, set up some plot threads and helped further develop Bucky and Sam's characters and back stories.

The stuff with Bucky working through his list and trying to deal with what he had been made to do for years was well done, I hope they keep going with that thread.
And yeah, was nice to see Batroc again! :toot:

Also, I'm sure that's not the shield Sam got given in Endgame. The star grooves are too well defined.

I really enjoyed that, it was a nice slow burn and took time to set up where everyone is currently at after the blip.

It's the same shield but it's different to the ones Cap used previously as it's come from an alternate timeline.

Far better pilot episode than Wandavision.

Was rather so-so on that. Founds effects at the start really quite ropey. Start of the setup for the big bad doesn't seem that interesting either.

A decent start, but I wasn't overly excited by it.
