Yeah I hated that bit.

Good finale but disappointed they didn't catch him. More for storyline reasons as both lead actors were excellent and will welcome their return in the 2nd series. Overall a nice middle ground between the usual short UK show and a lengthy US show.

No date for Series 2 yet but probably next month.

The first 3 episodes of Series 1 are on BBC2 tonight with the final 2 next Sunday. I assume it'll be on iplayer as well.

Caught up with this in Netflix, kept myself amused by guessing where all the scenes were set  Found it funny how bad a light it shows Belfast as well!

Yeah it was, unfortunately RTE's on demand player doesn't do HD and it seems there's only SD versions knocking about so I think I'll wait.

Pretty good 1st episode, the scene with him lying next to a tied up naked Barbie was very creepy. Having said that, he was creepy interacting with any human as well.

2x01- A good opening. Couldn't remember a lot of last season though so I had to read the Wikipedia summaries.

Just caught up this Episode 3. Excellent stuff. Paul is such a fascinating character.

2x03 was the best so far. You would have thought that DNA on the murder weapon is enough to arrest him though.

2x04- Was the ceiling collapse supposed to be as hilarious as it was?

An odd moment of levity in this show.

The long awaited confrontation between Stella and Paul was sublime. I'm pleased with how it ended. There are plans for a third season apparently but I really don't think the show will be half as good without Jamie Dornan, assuming his character does die. And if he doesn't, I can't imagine a way of including him without it feeling contrived.

I think a third season would be a mistake considering how well that finale tied everything up.

It didn't really tie things up though,I mean it ended on a cliffhanger, something I think the show really didn't need. I can't say I felt a huge amount of resolution for any of the characters either. From a character point of view I would like another season but plot wise I've no idea how they'd make it compelling.
