2x09-Surprised the set was still standing after the scenery chewing Hamill and Captain Cold got up to.

I was expecting a Zoom reveal the the end there. Disappointed. :(

Flash running on the helicopter's blades. :datass:

The reasoning for why all the bombs got sucked through the portal was perhaps even worse science than Cold freezing laser beams a few eps back.

I didn't have high hopes for this episode when I realised it was a Christmas episode but it was actually pretty good, aside from the dodgy science.

2x11- Hunter Zolomon! :o That reveal aside the episode was fairly mediocre and if it was a red herring the episode will turn out to be entirely skippable.

If a newly introduced character is introduced with their full name you know they're relevant to the story. Zolomon.

I really enjoyed the episode, I wouldn't call it skippable regardless of red herring or not. Otherwise you can't understand the timeline:

What a clusterfuck! :slol:

2x13- -Well there's Supergirl, would have been better had they announced the crossover after this episode aired.
-They're really laying it on thick that Jay is Zoom. I needed more speed! Expecting a swerve.
-Batman, GL and Wonder Woman on speed dial!
- Earthquake Man doing his best Captain Cold line delivery.

Best episode of the season, my one disappointment was the absence of Mayor Snart.

"It's a work in progress Elsa"

Right up to the end of that episode I was thinking Jay was Zoom, think theres some version of Jay in the mask though.

2x14- How about this- The guy in the mask is the real Earth 2 Jay Garrick. Zoom is the Earth 2 Hunter Zolomon impersonating Jay Garrick on Earth 1.

Or Zoom is the Earth 3 Hunter Zolomon/Jay Garrick? Mask Man is blonde so definitely a version of Jay yeah.

Geomancer just straight up walking into STAR Labs without anyone noticing. Hire a security guard at least, come on.

2x15- The end. :datass: That aside it was a filler episode but a good filler episode. Less said about Wally's whining the better.

And now there isn't a new episode for a month. :simper:

And he looks really good for a TV show budget. Good that they went with Great White King Shark instead of the Hammerhead version.

Spotted in the credits that King Shark was voiced by David Hayter, thought I recognised the voice.

Is this worth watching?

I've gotten through the first couple of episodes and it's really strawberry floating stupid. It has such an arbitrary set of rules and it feels really cheesy and 90s. Does it get significantly better or at least have some decent arcs or something.

If it was 12 episodes in a season I might be more inclined to stick with it.

It gets significantly 'worse' but that, to many people, is part of the appeal.
There is actually a decent story arc that stretches through the entire thing, I reckon. I'm on the fence about it, I prefer grittier stuff like Daredevil. It's too bloody long as well.

Oh God ep 3 is dumb

Also what is the deal with these Super fast heroes? Ok they can run really fast but there are times in this where he's just standing still and everyone around him is frozen or moving super slow. What is actually happening in these parts?

Moving slow=shot from fast dude's perspective

Is The Flash worth watching literally for the sole reason of Wentworth Miller?

Yes. Yes it is.

Is it worth watching? Of course.

Is Wentworth Miller absolutely anything to do with that? No.

Go watch the (really, really bad) Legends of Tomorrow, if that's what you want to see.

Yeah but when he's standing still and everyone is frozen what's happening there because time still moves on so it doesn't make sense that he can just mill about. Unless of course he has some super speed brain ability but that still seems weird.
