Whilst I like the idea of the Flashpoint alternate timeline, I really hope they don't pull an Enterprise and make it last the entire season.

That would interfere with the annual Arrow/Flash/Legends of Tomorrow/Supergirl crossover so it'll be fixed by then.

Trailer looks brilliant - by far the best of the new Arrowverse trailers as it looks like they entered this season with a proper plan.

As Demanded by Common Sense, Supergirl and Flash Are Going to Have a Musical Crossover

The news came from the CW’s TCA presentation, where executive producer Greg Berlanti announced a two-part musical coming late in the season. And that’s not all the excitement in store of DC’s CW-verse next year.

“Yes, there will be a musical crossover,”said Berlanti, via TV Line.“There’s going to be a musical pair of episodes in the back half of the year between Supergirl and The Flash.” He added that they’ll mostly be singing existing songs, but the writers have been kicking around trying to write “at least” one original tune for each episode.

Decent return although the time travelling stuff is getting a bit old. Always fun though to see the characters in different scenarios. Not keen on changing the various Iris relationships.

That wasn't much of a Flashpoint. I understand why it was so limited though.

Seemed like they got to Flashpoint and then went "Oh strawberry float. That's quite a lot to change...and the other stuff too in other shows".

Still they can have some poorly defined changes now for drama.

I can only presume it's so they can show it without having the need for the breaks the US have.

It'll be off-air for more than three weeks over the series though. The Xmas hiatus alone is going to be about a month.

Sky will obviously have the mid season break, but the US have had a one week break during the first half of the season for both previous seasons. It's possible that this year there will be two breaks or a two week break during the first part.

Supergirl Season 2 returns first on Monday 24th Oct at 8pm, followed by
The Flash Season 3 on Tuesday 25th Oct at 8pm, then
Arrow Season 5 on Wednesday 26th Oct at 8pm, with
Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2 rounding things off from Thursday 3rd Nov at 8pm.

As some of you who have been following the US scheduling might have noticed, this is a slightly different order to how the CW are airing things. Over there, they started with Flash last night, then Arrow tonight, with Supergirl not airing until the following week. However, the reps from Sky have faithfully promised us this won’t mess up the various crossover events, and things will sync up. I suspect there maybe some scheduling breaks in the US that allow them to run things this way, and will push them back in order before the first crossover.

Ouch. Another pretty poor episode that I'm not sure what to think of. Barry being the worst again and some odd choices (people loved Emo last year! Let's double up!)

Barry:"Felicity whenever I go back in time to fix things, I just make things worse"

5 minutes later "I'll go back in time to fix things!"

They've used Flashpoint to fix some little oddities, but also some weird choices

Emo Cisco? Really...why...

Also changing Sarah to John - to fit in with Legends future Green Arrow - was a bit strange. Wonder how/if it'll be addressed in Arrow
Great to see Jay pop up and say "Stop strawberry floating it all up Barry"
