Nope, you're correct. He was first choice in 2005 and came into the 2007 starting line-up when Alvaro Arbeloa was injured.

Lost in the DFB Pokal Final.

His Wikipedia page doesn't have him down as a runner-up but all the others do.

I looked originally because I assumed they had all played in both matches in the same year.

I would imagine that there are more players than those mentioned that have lost both matches.

I thought that but Maldini, Del Piero and Buffon have all lost 3 and Evra has lost 4.
